Why quote Grok? It's rarely ever completely accurate.

I don't get why people use it or other chat bots on things that normal Google could direct you to real sources for the actual answer. There is no version of the CT with a 150 kWh battery.

This is such a CLUSTER BLEEP. Who knows how many CT’s this impacts. It could be hundreds or thousands of PAWD builds since March. I’m concerned this also applies to the basic AWD models as well, further lengthening the fix. If it’s a physical part replacement, buyers should be made aware so expectations are correctly set.

For those of us with trucks in containment at the SC, we have already signed documents, transferred cash, set up auto payments, and paid insurance. Yet it could be weeks before we take delivery after a six week window since ordering??? Like I said, what a cluster BLEEP.

I love Tesla. This will be my second purchase. But I have to say I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

I’m waiting for the delivery vehicle to be enroute with my CT only then I’m going to move ahead to complete these processes. (As late as possible)

Informed by whom ? Can this procedure be done at the SC ? Are the batteries being dispatched to the SCs ? etc etc

From another forum member who spoke with Tesla service today…

“talked with service and they said that the service hold has been extended through end of quarter and thus we cannot deliver any cybertruck until end of June at the moment.”

Ok on Googling I found out that this can be done in the SC and there’s stock of these batteries available at various SCs. But I’m very sure that this is not the reason for the containment hold. It takes 2-3 days max to get this procedure done.

My PAWD just went in transit to delivery location today. VIN 95xxx. Surely it will not be affected. Please agree with me. Ha ha

I was supposed to take delivery 5/9, containment hold. They told me something to do with the battery they are seeing if engineers can release it or they have ordered the part which should get here next week with a 2 day turn around time. My vin is in the 95xxx

My first estimated delivery window for my PAWD was 5/8/26 - 5/11/26… VIN 948xx.
The window just keeps getting pushed back.
Me and my son went to the Irvine delivery center and found my CT on the lot. Tech advised there was an issue with a connection within the battery. I’ve called several times, no one can give a REAL estimate on an actual delivery date “just keep checking your app”

Has anyone taken delivery of a CT after 5/8/26 ?
