This is correct, I am a regular CT AWD owner, VIN 78k and purchased a brand new V3 OEM Lightbar from eBay ($1200). Package was sealed which is nice and has the new connector so no soldering is required. I did purchase all the installation hardware from Tesla at a recent service appt for $200, which has the new double tape adhesive versus the glue that was originally used along with the brackets.

Do you happen to have the name of the seller from ebay.com where you purchased yours?

The roof appliqués are actually NOT required-they don’t mount through those holes AND also NOT on the bolts beneath!

Your right, I was thinking about the crossbars because when I installed my light bar I did the crossbars at the same time.

Yep, v3 is 1937354-30-A, the prior v1 and v2 are 10-A and 20-A respectfully so make sure you see the actual part number on the box before buying from a seller. New Beast owners are saying Service wont even give them the Lightbar, they are requiring them to have it installed so they can't resell it apparently. Installation looks like it's been pretty well updated and simple. Will be doing this weekend and will update with photos. Pretty stoked though actually.

Did you specifically hear them mention anything about reselling the prior versions?

if your service center is close by, stop in a have a chat. Perhaps you just junk mailed that email not realizing.

Memphis put mine on and I can see daylight between the bar and glass, passenger side is clearly not attached preying the side mount brackets hold. I may just re do it myself will see.

I'm finally getting mine, all I had to do is ask them and they said yes. There was no email and it wasn't listed in the "outstanding work" section in the service UI.

The OEM light bar was a FS/CB exclusive. Not just any beast, and not just any FS Cybertruck. At one point, it was reported that they wouldn’t even work with any other variant, but that has not proven to be true. People have found them on eBay.

To this date there has been no option to purchase it. People have found a price, but I believe that’s simply for replacement for collisions etc.

If anybody has proof that it’s otherwise, please share it.
