My truck has been stuck at the SC for almost 3 weeks in a containment hold.

Anyone else have a truck that is still stuck in a containment hold? Or, did you find a way to get your truck to get released?

Mine has been stuck for 21 days tomorrow presumably for accelerator pedal. Tomorrow I'm supposed to get an update. Only found it was on lot by showing up to SC and asking after no news for 2 weeks post vin assignment.

Mine was in purgatory. Not sure if anyone else was able to get theirs released but I talked to the GM. When she realized I had paid in full, had no trade in or financing needs she seemed surprised and gave the standard no info replies.

I kinda pressed hard, noting the payment in full, knowledge of recall and repair process which I linked via the Tesla app, and let her know that it's difficult to free up two physicians schedules for pickup and that the next few weeks were going to be impossible as I had already swapped call shifts due to the two missed deliveries they cancelled the day before. She apologized and offered the standard no info replies. I was frustrated but she offered to call me personally daily with an update an ind I appreciated the offer and we ended the conversation.

The next day I got a call they had fixed my pedal and I could take delivery the next day (which my wife and I happenes to have off).

I am not sure what happened but, to me it seems they were just spread too thin. The jig was there with the memo but they just didn't prioritize it.

Overall, the handling of the Cybertruck has been insanely poor. When else has a delivery been answered with "We don't know. Austin handles that" yet we have no good communication from Austin and no way to get info. Maybe this was how it was for early models of other Teslas but to me, as a new owner, I wonder what the heck they are thinking. This is no business model. It's a plan held together by really bad duct tape.

This is absolutely ridiculous. The rivet takes less than three minutes to install. I went to my delivery center and my truck was sitting there on “containment hold“

I simply asked if they could pop the rivet in right now and if there was anything else holding up delivery. they looked and said give us 20 minutes. I left with my CT

It is ridiculous. Got my vin two weeks ago tomorrow. Called my service center about 50 times since then and only reached someone twice. I asked how long has been the average vin to delivery at the Pensacola, Fl delivery center. They said a month or two.
Either they are stalling or clueless. I think both.

I honestly think I educated them on how to do it and how easy it was. I think they had layoffs and backups on service and it wasn't a priority comparatively. And most people didn't pay in full so it was NBD.

Overall the umber affected us in the dozens at most so I suppose they figure us upset is a minority and doesn't matter. Eventually we will get our trucks and quiet down is my assumption from the Austin managerial team with what's going on.

The decentralization of CT is quite weird and I don't like the lack of communication. It speaks of something deeper wrong. I'm waiting for the stock hit to come this year before a rebuikd into 2025. I can't imagine the rest of the year going in a positive direction at the moment.

That said. Love my truck. It's gosh darn amazing.

Going on 2 weeks for me and I know they have the tools to fix the Pedal. They are sitting on 19CT in Salem OR. They tell me they don’t have enough people to fix and detail them for delivery.

Went to my sc today as my truck has been on lot at least 2 weeks. They have 20 cybertrucks sitting in the lot and resumed deliveries ytd. They are down to one prep guy who spends 2 to 3 hours prepping each truck so they are shooting for 1 to 2 truck deliveries per day due to staff layoffs.

I told him I ain't picky. I can wash my truck I just want software, hardware and structure to be intact. I can do the cosmetics myself. The layoffs are making it harder. Delivery date remains tbd even after I said I would take it today.

Same here in NJ I even had insurance on mine and they were driving me nuts. I am oissed that TESLA is soooo bad at any communication. Seems like they are trying to kill the company. Maybe who killed the electric car all over again, (movie). I paid in full called numerous times, found my truck in the lot with bird shit 5 hit on it. No communication paid in full almost a month ago. Seriously I’m at the point of give me all my deposits back and let me go on my way. Trucks is obviously a flop, or something else is wrong they are not sharing. distance towing for me won’t work since my kid races .25 midgets. Just tired of the BS with Tesla they literally ruined the experience

My original appointment was for April 11th. Almost 3 weeks have passed. I've messaged the team but no real answers. said they are waiting on parts, what parts.
My Credit Union Loan is asking me about insurance and soon will start to charge me a penalty. My plan is to stop by the service center today and ask around in person.

My best results are in person at sc. They told me the pedal issue is fixed now it is just getting trucks ready for delivery. I graduated from high school awhile ago. I don't need pomp and circumstances. I drive a model y so UI is not much different. Give me the cards and enough charge for 20 miles home.
