And they are friends that know all about fake news. So I had my car just today remind me to plug in that I had less than 38% remaining. How many gasoline powered cars tell them to "go out of their way" and just stand there to fill up. BTW, How much extra time does the average drive use , counting the out of their way to get gas?

Since never. That's politics, but no, there are no leaders in the Democratic Party that are against the electrification of vehicles. A Party is a big enough group to end up with representatives that suck on the subject - just like this forum has guys with doubts on the issue, too.

But we come together anyhow, despite our diverse backgrounds and politics. It's awesome.

And yeah, I'm really disappointed in the hypocrisy of some who'll do no due diligence to make sure what they say about Tesla or EVs is true - all because arguing with Elon on Twitter is more important to them. It sucks.

But what are you going to do about it? Compromise your ideals? Why?

I value honesty and information. I clearly don't agree with Hauling Ass on this subject, but I still read his posts. Because he's not afraid to contribute and help the forum. (I use him as an example because he answers so many questions and we so clearly disagree on politics, both national and corporate!)

I can give you advice I give kids: It gets better. It just takes time.

There's no time in the history of the world where you'd get as good health care, have as much knowledge available, be as safe from crime or war; than now.

Media is all about clicks, which means they gotta talk about the things that make people upset.

Fires and explosions of fossil fuel consumer vehicles, commercial vehicles, tankers, storage tanks, pipelines, oil wells, refineries, etc get limited reporting at time an event happened them the media forgets about them.

I tell them that the day before it was announced, there was a Ford recall for 500,000 vehicles that could CATCH FIRE. Had they heard of that? After they say no, I tell them that only 3,000 Cybertrucks were affected, and only 2 actually had the problem. They usually go "wow".

For anyone new to Tesla, this kind of stuff has been going on for years. I was just hoping it was finally fading away...

Tesla does not pay advertising, so the news companies like spreading the FUD since they don’t have to worry about lost advertising revenue. Gets them clicks without risk.
