You can downrate the UWC to match the capacity of the circuit.if you donāt have enough space in the panel for a 60 amp you can get away with a 50 amp ā 14-50 Nema plug
Iām using the universal wall charger that was installed as part of the Foundation Series PowerShare program. Whatās the benefit of these chargers compared to Teslaās?
Hell no. These options suck.
Tesla ās wall charger is capable of delivering 11.kw/h at 48amps!!
these decoās as well as the Tesla mobile Charger are limited to 32amps.

But I would recommend running a dedicated 60 amp with six gauge wire and a communication cable so that the charger doesnāt overdraw from the panel
I already spent ~10K for Powershare at home.Don't skimp on charging.
Just buy the Tesla unit
I still wouldn't buy an off brand. How long did the Powershare install end up taking?I already spent ~10K for Powershare at home.
Asking these to install to family members when I visit them. It's convenience instead of Supercharger.
I've provided infos to Trout Electric about a week before I got my CT. A week (I got my CT this week) to sign the paperwork. Two weeks to wait for them to install in two days. But still waiting for permit from the city before I can do the stucco, been 10 days now with no response from the city.I still wouldn't buy an off brand. It took 2 full days to install? I'm figuring since my panel and meter are back to back on exterior garage wall I should pay for about 2-4 man hours labor, but my place wants $3,500I've provided infos to Trout Electric about a week before I got my CT.
