Does Tesla send you an email when a VIN gets assigned? I know you can check the app but don't want to check it 1000's of times per day.
I also see people saying they send a message through the app but mine does not show that option. Will the app allow that when I get a VIN assigned?

App, email, text. From what it looks like, can be all 3, can be just 1. I've heard of people just opening up their app only to find a VIN.

Other than seeing the VIN show up in the app today - I received no communication from Tesla so far.

Same opened the app and noticed a new message about a change and there was the VIN. No text or email.

This was my experience as well. If I had not checked the app That day I would not have know I got a VIN.

They never gave me an ETA when I placed my order. If they did, I missed it and it doesn’t appear anywhere in my order docs. Odd but true. But it’s been 5 months since config. Longer than many who placed an order after me. You gonna do a wrap?

The ETA only appeared on the web page when placing the order, I believe. I don't think that estimate appeared anywhere else in later communications about an order or an orders status.
