As I mentioned before, I don't really care about the gaps that much. Later I had to make a service appointment for other reasons, so I submitted all my concerns, to see if I can get them all fixed.
Besides the panel gaps, the mobile charger came with my CT only charge at 6A, which is as good as not working for me. And the whole vehicle vibrates only around 60mph. Also there is a trim inside the driver side rear door is damaged which I didn't notice at delivery.
The service is at Santa Clara, very quick, only 1 day. The staff is super nice and super busy. There are 10+ CTs there, some are with Temporary Operating Permits, VIN 3000+, some are obviously delivered, one even has a cool wrap.
For the misalignments, I was told they have to measure them to determine whether they need repair according to the standard. And repairing them could cause new misalignments at the other sides of the panels, besides may causing new seal/wind noise problems. Here are the results:
Between driver side doors. It wasn't that bad when looked at in real life. It's just the camera angle.
Above the passenger side rear door. I think it is untouched. Maybe it is not misaligned enough.
Above the driver side rear door. I would say improved.
Passenger side in the front, much improved.
For the vibration at 60mph, after a road test by a technician, I was told it should be normal for AT tires. It was stronger when newly delivered, now after 3000 miles, it is much less noticeable. I'll just wait and see.
For the mobile charger, only 6A conformed. When I submitted the service request in the app, I was directed to Tesla Wall Connector Support, then instructed to go to Service Center Team to get it tested at a service center. Now it is tested, I was given 2 options waiting for ordering a new one or pick up a non-CT one (The top one in the photo below. I didn't even know there is a difference.).
Another service appointment was created for me in June, to get the damaged interior trim fixed, pick up the new mobile connector and get some recalls done (door check strap joint bolts, accelerator pedal).
