So you're saying if you bought it for the $102,000 price and then sold it for $165,000, they'd "sue" you for whatever is over the $102,000 price (in this case $63,000)? Or they'd sue you for $165,000 even though you paid $102,000 to get it in the first place?
Lawsuits don't work that way.

You sue for some liability - not the money. In this case, to follow the contract. Which is '$50k ...or the consideration'. They know they can't get the truck back, but they can penalize you for wasting their time selling it to you plus whatever the price you got - since they could've gotten it themselves had you not gotten in the way.

Although people often say it that way, 'sued me for such and such dollars' but that number is based upon lots of factors, sometimes including legal costs.

Don't forget that the loser in the lawsuit has to pay for the legal cost of the winner. In this case, the law firm typically charges $1,000.00 / hr. Do the math... you will realize that it is much more than the profit you made if you fight it.

How would Tesla know if I sold the truck? Is there anyway for them to actually track that?

The know what VIN you have, and when someone else registers it on their account, they'd obviously know it's no longer in your posession. Yeah, I'd say they can see that. This isn't going to be a money making thing for you...especially if they decide to make an example of you.

CybertruckSellersClub is behind the other door.
This. You have the wrong website, frankly. Nothing wrong with selling something if you need to, but this website is about owning it, not flipping it if that's what you're trying to do.

I didn't understand that user's comment. What's he mean they're behind the other door?
