I've had this issue with my truck since at least March (Took delivery mid-February). I haven't reported it as an issue yet, but it's annoying as heck. Doesn't seem to do it every drive, but once it starts, it continues to do so even at 0 MPH. The only way I've been able to get it to stop is to park, get out of the truck, and get back in.

It's beboppin' to the music, just like the manual says it should. Have you tried not playing music?

Just kidding, hope you get it fixed.

Does it move even if you have the wipers switched to off instead of auto?

I could be wrong but it doesn’t appear to be your wiper motor as the base rotational area of the wiper isn’t moving in the video, only the top wiper section that holds the rubber piece with the sprayers. Do you have anything else installed on the front or side of your Cybertruck that could potentially be redirecting wind toward your wipers?

clearly defective... yet another issue with the foundation series cybertruck. for 100k+ you'd think the car would be tip top user tested but it clearly has not passed standards in actual customer experience prior to rollout. that IS the price we all paid for getting the trucks early.
However there have been about a dozen issues with mine in 6months and mine are minor compared to the Horror stories I see on this channel.
These defections are what push me out of the truck after 1 year... still hoping for the one year contract commitment to end so a trade can be done for a model X

Go ahead and sell it now, look how many are for sell. Tesla won't sue you or ban you from buying another Tesla, they need all the buyers they can. They laid off a ton of people in the company, you think they are busy hiring a massive legal team to sue everyone selling their trucks?

Their legal bills would be massive if they did that, esp for people fighting the cases.... They would be on the hook MILLIONS of dollars in legal expenses with no end to the litigation.

The early sellers verbiage was just to keep the "honest man honest' and nothing more. Sell it.

I keep my wipers set to off because the auto wipers are still a little wonky for me at times and I've still seen my wiper twitching even when the truck is at a complete stop. It's really bizarre and feels more like a bug related to the wiper repositioning itself for better aero. I expected it to move once and stop, but once it starts it just keeps twitching back and forth and won't stop until I get out of the truck.

Well let's objectively look at we know:
So far, it appears to be a software controlled event, which is probably not something to get overly concerned about considering the fluid nature of Tesla software updates. Either way, it's happening and Tesla is clearly aware of it.

FWIW, no way I'd take a model X over a CT. that's just silly, but to each his own.

As for issues, this forum is an absolute magnet for reported issues.
And so far, there have been some serious issues, but they appear to be relatively small in number
Therefore, claiming a high issue rate is representative of all 10k + delivered CTs is nonsensical in every demonstrable way.

It is defective and I've never seen this behavior of constantly adjusting the whipper on my truck nor heard about it from other actual owners. The idiotic responses below either from one who did not watch the OP video or one who would interpret piss as rain if it came from his idol.
Alright well keep inventing gremlins to chase then.

"I've never seen it on my truck" =/= "it's defective"

It's super amazing to me how many "experts" we have on the forum that know better than the owners manual based on nothing but a single anecdote at the most

If it was software, then anyone driving a Cybertruck on the current software build would be experiencing the exact same thing, as it would be a problem with the software build and not specific to his truck.

Everyone likes to blame software on Tesla's, but care to explain why everyone isn't having this same issue when running the exact same software build?

Why don't you post a video of your truck doing the same exact thing?

Cmon, let's see it

If only I had thought to take a video while I was showing my passenger that exact behavior over the weekend. But how could I know that I was going to be arguing with people who think the owners manual is lying.

Ok cool so you don't have a video of this "software glitch" or "feature" then

It certainly may not be. Personally I'd probably never notice this unless asked to check, which I'll do if you'd like.

Clearly there's a lot of emotional responses going around, so I'll checkout here.

Weekend is almost here! Have a great weekend all!
