Long story short:
Back In May, Small school parking lot accident, his bumper came off and my CT fender bent. Friendly resolved through insurance.
I was so worried about repair cost and time. because it is so new.

Back home, sent some pictures through tesla app to request a repair appointment, and waited a few days.....

Tesla made appointment and sent estimate ---- $219! I did not believe it and my friend said once done it probably going to be 5, 10 times of that.....

Went to appointment and dropped off at 10am, 4pm same day app says done and picked up.
AND new final bill amount ---- $81!!! $23 in labor and $55 in parts...... I have never seen car repair bills this low....

Happily went home and told insurance, no damage to my truck..... Happily ever after. :)

It looks like you were driving forward when you got backed into?

I have to caution myself about becoming complacent because I know it can still be damaged, even if at times it seems almost like the Cybertruck is nearly invincible.

Yes, exactly. So damage is at passenger front. When stopped to take picture, you see the rear and the other car.

Its a small trim piece. Mess up an SS panel and see. windshield is $2100, rear bumper cover $850

I got my 911 winshield w/ antenna replaced for $200
That's nothing, I bought an entire Porsche once for $200.

Worst mistake of my life! :ROFLMAO:

Part of what makes Tesla, Tesla is the service department is not part of the company's income generating unit but rather, it is basically not for profits, meaning Tesla service charges what's needed to pay for materials, labor and to maintain the service center. No meaningful money goes to support the bottom line of Tesla. All other EV and ICE manufacturers uses their service department as money trees that contribute significantly to their stealerships and companies bottom line.

Now this is the type of story that should go viral and make headlines. Sadly, my news feed still keeps showing every possible thing that has gone wrong with the Cybertruck! ?‍♂

Yeah, I'll bet $100 that no MSM outlet picks up this story and spreads it far and wide!

If you don’t mind sharing, did you use Tesla insurance?
