In this shot the rear door grey panel looks quite dark.

we need pictures in different lighting. These shots outside in full sun did make the grey look much lighter than Tesla's pictures. Maybe if we get some pics in a garage with lights on. The sun looks like it is washing out the color

This post about an excellent delivery experience definitely changed directions—and admins changed its title—to be about tactical grey vs. white accents. If helpful to this really helpful community, excellent! A few final thoughts on the color discussion/debate/due diligence:

(1) I’m thrilled with my choice after having seen both options in-person. It’s more in-line with my color preferences and is better with the CB’s occasional Doberman hauling and Ranch duty uses in the future.

(2) My non-colorblind wife says there’s no green/olive in the upholstery itself, but she does see it in my pics illuminated by sunlight coming through the sunroof.

(3) I don’t know if this nighttime image adds to peoples’ assessment, but here you go!

Now off to enjoy my second full day with the Beast. Gotta acclimate to the g-force.

Well, since it's a "need" and not just a "want," I might try to accommodate after we rearrange our vehicles. Right now, the TRX and my son's Skyline occupy the 2-car garage and my CrossFit gym occupies the 1-car garage. (First world problems, I know.) And,backing up the CB into narrow spaces is taking practice even though the TRX has a bigger footprint.

Plan is for the TRX and CB to eventually swap places. But even then, I expect there will be unappreciative malcontents who complain about those pics due to the types of bulbs I have in my garage. Nonetheless, I'll do it for the appreciative folks still trying to make decisions.

I don’t see any Foundation badging on the interior. Did I miss it in the pictures or will tactical grey not come with foundation badging?

I answered this earlier in this growing thread, and there's a pic (posted in at least 2 locations) that shows there is Foundation badging roughly above the glove box and below the top of the dash. Accent lighting runs right next to it. It looks nice.

Absolutely! At least we have the same choice in dogs, just got a doberman puppy a few months back and already is close to looking like a clone of your avatar haha.

Enjoy the Beast, it's an amazing truck. I've had mine for right about a month now (1300 miles already), and I have only grown to love it more and more since the day I picked it up.

I don’t see any Foundation badging on the interior. Did I miss it in the pictures or will tactical grey not come with foundation badging?

You can see the FS badging in the green circle. Just not obvious because of the resolution and lighting.

To each his own, but the white was never a good option. Gray fits with the theme soooo much better.

I do like the grey interior better than the black and white that I got with my dual motor CT. When I picked up my CT, we got there too late to see the light show, and didn't really get any help from the staff with orientation to the controls. But the biggest issue I had was that they did not have temporary tags for the truck. They gave me a copy of the purchase paperwork and told me to drive it on home. It was over a week later, and 2 trips back to the Cypress location, before I finally got an e-mail with a pdf attachment that allowed me to print out temp tags on my own at home. Had a similar experience about a month later when we went out to pick up my wife's new Model Y. I hope your experience is the new norm for people out there.

Are the seats also a different lighter grey color? On the Tesla site, changing the interior color only changes the side panels and the dash panel, not the seats.

just picked up my cyberbeast from the cypress location and I didn't receive my temporary plates either, just sent an email out.
