Cybertruck towed away Today

So, the video says the CT must be unlocked to use the frunk bypass procedure. @CBMW6674, was your truck locked or unlocked for the tow situation?

They jumped the 12v battery to get the door open but the truck kept going off and on. Wouldn’t hold a charge at all.

Woke up this morning to an alert that my Truck stopped charging at 75%. Didn’t think much of it until I tried to go to work and the truck was completely dead. Contacted support and they asked for it to be towed in to run diagnostics on it. Tow companies are very unfamiliar on how to tow a Cybertruck so that process took a few hours while they spoke to Tesla directly. Hopefully it’s repaired quickly.

Agree it shouldn’t have taken a few hours. I was at work and you would think Tesla would send a tow company that knew how to do it.

Truck still in service. Got a call today that they need to replace the power conversion system and will need to wait a week or so till it’s available.

I don't follow. Most of the Cybertruck's modules are new, but all Teslas have a PCS. It handles charging.

Sure, and before that Y was the first with 16V, and the rest had 12V. My point was that the PCS existed on all those vehicles. All of Cybertruck's main modules are new, so saying "This is one critical component that is completely new to the fleet" confuses me since there are lots of new modules.
Steer by wire though, that is completely new.

Anywho, just me being confused, nothing important.
