Received a text from Tesla to come in and have Aero Covers installed. Surely but surely starting. The new slightly edited design that prevents tire rub.

Hmmm...I liked them when the truck came out but now that I have these, the originals and updated versions look too clunky.

Those do look new. The rubber extension part is shorter, so it doesn't rub into the tires. I don't think they look that bad.

kinda funny, it took months to trim the ends shorter, When I saw the problem I came up with the exact same solution in seconds!

They could change the design in seconds but they needed extra time to test and make sure it doesn't happen again.

IMO looks like theres a bigger gap between hubcap and aero cover now as well. But hard to tell from just 2 pictures.
