Universal Charger comes with FS, so I am curious why this was a rush need to buy impulsively?
I didn't get a charger with my truck. I opted to install the charger and Gateway with a Tesla certified installer. The installer said the equipment would be sent to them. I then got an email saying that I would get a voucher which I haven't received yet.

I received the mobile charger with my delivery, which is what i believe all trucks get. Not the universal charger.

I did the same thing. I didnt want to use the mobile charger and wanted a gen 3 wall charger. And i didnt read the fine print. What can i say.

Well.... I didn't understand the details of the voucher program.

Picked up my truck last month and figured "hey I need a charger" so I logged on (in a hurry) and ordered the Gen 3 charger from Tesla's shop using the voucher. In my head I'm thinking "I'll come back for the rest of it later...."

Well as yall surely all know that's not how it works. Apparently I forfeited about 2 grand after buying the charger! I was absolutely shocked today when I went to check out with my cart.... I just assumed this worked like a normal gift card or credit.

Needless to say I'm mad at both myself for not reading the fine print and also a little peeved at the "system" implemented here....

Do yall think I'm doomed or is there any history of Tesla being understanding here? What department should I try to get in contact with? I'm a share holder who just bought a 100K+ truck... surly they'll be understanding here, right?!

Update 2024-07-31:

Tesla did respond to the tickets I created via the contact section of the online store. They issued me a new voucher for the remanding balance that has the same expiration date as the original. I'm extremely appreciative of the grace they gave me in this situation. Good on Tesla!

I had an issue. I had all items in cart. Including the spare tire which is $1500. Total made each item like $3.22 as I went over the $2500 a bit. Voucher code in. Press button. Got the System Error red x, and a confirmation minus the $1500 spare. I canceled immediately all the items prior to shipping.

Yet voucher code now didn't work. I called CS. They opened a ticket. (also they could not believe the single use code). I got an email two days later along with hey we are researching it. 15 minutes later I received new code, and an email saying be careful this time.

I said thanks. Please tell Elon in your annual review to bring the NVIDIA GPU's back to Tesla from X. The shop needs everything it can get.
