Discussion: What Features Do You Think Are Missing From the Cybertruck?

When I compare to our other F150 truck or I'd say:

- read trailer backup assist or auto hitch alignment
- opening rear window
- real pano sunroof, these glass roofs are a cheap out
- powered shad for glass pano roof
- real collapsible rear seat under storage built in like Ford, not some cheap plastic container insert
- actual decent wheel options
- few more cupholders
- power lift gate is nice
- homrlink for sure, having to use plastic clicker for old ranch gates and community gates
- obviously truck is missing all the usual ultrasonic features and reliable ones like audible alerts

• 360 camera view.
• Auto on front camera when approaching objects

Hardware

• Digital rear view in the actual mirror, like Hummer EV. This is objectively better.
• Washer on rear camera
• Opening rear window or some bed passthru
• Built in air compressor
• A better windshield washer fluid dispenser system, this one is nearly worthless
• A CCS charging adapter. Being at EA chargers and not being able to use them sucks.
• LIDAR / Radar / Proximity sensors for better cruise and easier parking

Software

• Android Auto / Carplay / At least give us an app store
• WiFi hotspot (Why do my Ford and VWs have this and not my Tesla?)
• USB that can do both sounds and sentry
• Remote sentry event viewing
• FSD, Summon, etc. obviously

+1 for:

• Digital rear view in the actual mirror.
• Washer on rear camera.
• A better windshield washer fluid dispenser system, this one doesn’t really work on dry/dusty windshields

I wish it had a camera to see the bed and also wish you could control the height from the app while it is parked, although I suspect this is a safety issue.

I should have been clearer. I would like Tesla to support a digital mirror with 3/4 video channels: front, sides, and rear. They already have the cameras (though there are issues with the rear camera getting dirty, not being available when the tailgate is down, and being too wide angle) hooked up into power and they already send the video streams to the monitor. I favor a system with independent cameras but to have Tesla buy into the solution would mean better integration and routing of cables.

3) Ability to ride on ‘High’ while in the city to improve visibility

5) don’t need pass through window, but do need climate controlled truck bed

I just took the family to Yellowstone last week. The truck was great. We took a microwave and plug in cooler because we don’t generally like eating the park food. It was fun and funny sitting in the bed of the truck microwaving chicken melts for the kids.

On my short list above the phone charger is the most annoying daily thing about my beautiful truck. The few software issues can always be fixed OTA but the busted phone heater is a physical problem. We are stuck with that until they recall it (if ever) or I buy an android phone.

• Brighter/bigger blind spot warning lights on the A column
• Steering column stalks
• Lockable under rear seat storage
• Built in window shades for rear windows
• Opening Sunroof
• More cup holders
• 6th seat, front bench seat
• "Oh $#!t" handles
• More L-track in the bed. 2nd track along the side corners
• A place to mount a winch
• 48v winch
• A rear view camera that works with the tailgate down

Instrument panel? Really.. An F-150 has alot of what you want.

Or a good heads up display. Something I can use without looking too far away from the road when I am moving. There are lots of 3rd party addons for the Model Y and 3, its only a matter of time its added for the CT

I had an F150. You are right, if I could combine the features of both vehicles into 1 it would be perfect.

I would like the ability to turn off the 3D Visualization. It's just noise now. Would also like to automatically see the front and side camera video when parking rather than having to manually select and show cameras.
