Has anybody else gotten this error? I tried holding both scroll buttons down and rebooting the system and went into the settings and did a full shutdown of the car, but the error persists…

There are a number of "vehicle controller" modules that operate specific areas/functions, and they can go bad. Alternately you can do the power-off reset.

That’s what I tried and it didn’t work however I just got out of shower and about to go somewhere and it’s not there anymore so maybe it was just a fluke that took some time to reset itself! ??

My buddy is seeing similar issues out east, no available SC appts. Even after speaking with a human.

I understand it’s holiday time but honestly Tesla has known about many of these issues for months. It frustrates me that they didn’t take some time to hire and train up more folks. Now it’s likely too late.

my buddy is having to wait almost 8 weeks now. Insane.

I’m really hoping nothing catastrophic happens to me in the next 6 weeks ?

Had the same issue last week, drove around town and 30 minutes later it disappeared and haven’t had it since. Think it’s a glitch with the recent update.

If you can note when the fault occurred by date/time that will help with the fault log review. For some reason the faults don’t get time stamps like your suspension and door notices.

I’m in the Austin TX area and my truck has been just sitting in their lot since Dec 9, haven’t even begun working on it yet. They said backlogged but have moved my completion date to Dec 31 now. It’s really insane like you said. Just don’t understand the lack of service.

I had this exact same message
No error code
Eventually, my frunk would not open with the external switch.
Took it to the service center, and they found the exterior frunk switch was stuck in the closed position. I was able to open and close it using my app and the screen and close it with the switch inside the front.
Luckily they had The switch in stock and replaced it and all has been good since then.

I agree with the statement about this most recent update being buggy. I was leaving the SC and stopped to charge before heading home. Put the truck in drive and started to go but the truck tried backing up! Did it 3x then did the steering wheel button reset and it worked right. About 10 min later was going down the highway and a stop sign was floating in the slow lane on the display. Earlier today the rear view camera feed disappeared feom
The screen and wouldn’t come back up. Everything worked great until the update. (Was at the SC to pick up my snow tires and have them install the bolts they forgot during the inverter replacement)

A bit more detail…
When I first saw the message I immediately attempted to make an appointment in the app. I received a quick response that if I had safety concerns I should come straight to the service center. I drove straight there and they could not diagnose an issue. The frunk switch failure occurred days later and I drove to the Service center arriving when they opened. It was obvious that the message was a result of internal diagnostics of the switch starting to fail… pretty cool. I’m guessing that the heated seats and the frunk switch share some common electrical element as to make it unclear where the issue was emanating from.

I have got that but I got a suspension one but it went. Away . It did limit my speed to 91 but I drive it and it went away .

I’ve had this same error code twice now. It does go away but I’m Wondering if it is a foreshadow of difficulties to come?
