I'm doing the same next year for 2 months, I was thinking of leaving it plugged in but on jackstands.. Not sure if totally necessary though

Is there a long-term storage button for those that don't fit in garages or are parked at airports?

No.

Just make sure that you have cabin overheat and Sentry mode turned off at airports. Should easily be able to last a few weeks.
Look for parking locations that provide EV charging at airports, they are becoming common. I've got many at the ATL airport, one that has about 50 120V 20A plugs to use, absolutely perfect solution!

Set to 50% and leave plugged in. 2 months isn't long enough to need to put on jack stands.

Taken completely out of context.

That's the SoC that a disconnected battery should be stored and shipped at.

Cells don't know or care if they're connected or not genius.

While cells don't know or care if they are connected or not, if installed in a Cybertruck those cells are going to have drains on them from items the truck does when not sleeping, even sleeping there is still a minimal draw on the cells. 15-50 sounds like charge level for when not installed in a truck but I'm not sure it matters either way if left plugged in.

If you charge to 50% and are plugged in and get some draw down to say 45% then at some point your charger is going to kick in and get you back up to 50%. If you aren't plugged in, well then slowly over time your battery is going to discharge.

I don't think it matters if you are charged to 30%, 50% or 80% if you are still plugged in because your charger is going to top up the battery from any effects of battery drain. Why would drain between 50 and 45 percent be any different than drain between 80 and 75 percent? I'm not convinced that it would be. As long as you aren't at 100% I think you should be fine, as others said, just leave it plugged in.

I wouldn't bother with jackstands. Air the tires up to 60 psi and bleed them out to 50 or 53 psi when you return. These tires are not very susceptible to flat-spotting when aired up properly. Keep in mind, the recommended pressure for towing a trailer is 65 psi.

There are no phantom drains?
Nope not if the contactor isn't contacted. Drain is also irrelevant if you're plugged in which OP will be. Finally, SOC has nothing to do with drain if there were any.

It’s best just to let me drive it for the month. Besides, I’m a hg pilot, too.
