I heard original Foundation purchasers got $4000 for PowerShare installation but that is gone now. Does anyone know if that is correct and where I can verify?

I paid 1k on 30 may. Did registration
Not one word. Guy just said he paid 2500 in February, nothing since.
This is shameful, ridiculous. It like playing roulette in Vegas.
They opened reservation to Canada and Mexico, really? For 2035
Did you order either a CB, grey interior, or Core wheels?

Impossible. Countless internet engineers on here say they are made to order.
Anyone who follows Tesla knows that's incorrect. That's how they had a record number of inventory cars this year. With the CT, they are making AWD, White, with AT tires en masse and attaching those to orders as they come in.

edit: And I know you are joking, but they make to demand as Tesla has explained in the past. They try to track the most popular orders and make a certain amount of those in batches. That's what they've done for the last 4-5 years.

People who had a Beast configured before 5/22 (I think that’s the date) got the credit.

Then they should focus on delivering orders that have already been placed (and thus get paid) instead of chasing new orders.
I would guess this is for end of Q4 push.
Current reservation holders will probably be the end of Q3 push.

This is so Tesla can say the truck is profitable by EOY.

My guess is they overbuilt AWD and under built Cyberbeast... lots of eager Cyberbeasts orders still waiting for delivery while anyone that orders AWD now seems to get a vin fairly quick

Seems like FS is done soon.

Even if it’s “worth” the price (I do think it feels like a $100k plus vehicle if not more), there are only so many people that can spend that much.

So it’s a high volume / mass production intention but also out reach for a lot of buyers.

$80k opens up probably 2-3x the buyers vs FS, and eventual 65k AWD probably opens up 3-5x that base down the line (probably 2027-2028).

My neighbor put a reservation in April and had an invite a week or so ago. So I assume they have gone through the entire list.
Could be that Tesla is wholesale changing the Reservation/Configuration process.
Reservations helped Tesla get a feel for total interest but does not help them manufacture trucks efficiently. To do that, they need to know what configurations to build and when.

So, Tesla asked every single person to switch from Registration to Configuration so production can produce the right trucks.

They did this by making darn sure that they asked all the registered people to configure FS trucks if they wanted one since Tesla wants to build these first.

Next, you'll see invites to configure go out to people who previously reserved a truck who haven't already configured their trucks as FS. These people want non-FS trucks.

In the meantime, any new "orders" go into the new system. They are not leapfrogging existing reservationists. Existing reservationists are being moved into the new system.

From this point on, there will be NO MORE RESERVATIONS. There will only be ORDERS.

There are NO unsold Cybertrucks. There's a long wait list still. I'm one of the people waiting on one.

There are absolutely CTs made and not sold/allocated. That's why people can get same day Vins and have since early June.

Outside of late cancelation, there is not. There's not a person without a reservation who can get a truck off the lot.

You think there have been hundreds, if not thousands of cancellations that never made it to the delivery center?

Tesla doesn't build to order the way people think. They make vehicles in batches and fill the orders from those cars. They base this on order trends and what isn't sold goes into inventory. With the CT the AWD, with white interior, at AT tires is what they mass produce and fill as orders come in. That's why new orders of these without reservation can get one this month.

What I'm saying is that even made in batches, every CT that goes out already has 100 people who reserved one who will be offered that one. That's why you see people being asked to configure and then wait. Tesla is waiting for enough people in that area to make it worth delivering. When someone doesn't follow through, it gets offered to the next person available to take delivery. It's not always the next person in line. People have issues with financing, insurance, following instructions, etc.

There are no Cybertrucks at delivery centers that don't have several prior reservists chomping at the bit to pick it up. Nobody can walk in and buy one on the spot.
