When my truck was in for service they did an alignment and now it “clunks” on full lock right. I brought it back and after a week they put a new steering rack in! It still clunks but not nearly as bad.
anyways when it had the really bad clunk I noticed that the left tie rod had only a couple threads showing vs the left that had about 12. After the latest “fix” the right has 4 vs left 10 (see pics)
I would think that the tie rod length should be close to equal and then they center the rack electronically…
Anyways can someone, hopefully a couple snap pics of your left and right tie rods (just peek under the front bumper you will see them.)
