Nice to see mods like this. I and multiple others are using the mobile mini version.
The biggest disadvantage being while charging using the included A/C adapter will not power on (charging DC vs AC and which components are on).

Starlink mini in a suction cup net under the glass is slick! Pics please? Links to the suction cup net, please? How do you like to align it?
I just have my Mini sitting in my front windshield (power via 115v at back seat with wires running down and under the floor mats). Works great - even while driving as long as there is a clear view of the sky.

Agreed, just making sure everyone was aware.
I have a few units I play with. For testing the BaseCharge 1500+ is my go to unit but I don't recommend people get them in general, its expensive and the features most people won't care about.

A dash cover with a 1.5 inch higher section so one could put the Starlink Mini antenna under it would be interesting. Keep direct sun off of it, make it less glaring and less visible to tempt thieves, and still reasonably easy to move outside.

Or if the rear seat inside ceiling mount is done elegantly enough not to interfere with use of the rear seats either for passengers or folded down, that would be about as good (not too obvious from outside, no glare, out of the way, easy enough to move if desired), although I'd wonder about heat, but a truly reflective layer over it would probably be metallized, which would probably block the signal.
