I guess i’ll need to use off-road mode then. Hopefully i can switch it on the fly. Regarding “on-road” high…. I was simply clarifying your 25mph comment. Per the manual it lowers from high AFTER 100ft OR 25mph and that was exactly my experience, after 100ft of driving 15mph it lowered back down (on-road mode). The 100ft limit doesn’t make sense to me.

I think you have to be in Park for initial “Off-Road” access.

I agree. If there’s no damage to components, I’d hope a software update would open up On-Road/High for daily driving.

Custom. Standard acceleration. Focused Handling. Ride Height Higher. You get to drive fast and stay at medium height. Parking is 100% always defaulted to high. That’s when everyone sneaks pictures of it the most. Those of you parking in low or entry are making the Cybertruck look terrible and need to learn how the truck goes from disproportionate and actually underwhelming to legit dope, just by parking in high ? don’t make us look bad

That's obviously a matter of opinion. I think it looks and photographs best in low mode (~8" ground clearance) or, if in a less urban environment, maybe 10" of ground clearance. Any more than that and it starts looking gangly to me.

I have a few photos on a perfectly smooth gravel road in High mode (simply because I forgot to lower it after I didn't need the extra clearance) and it looks out of place, IMO.

Totally subjective but I 100% agree with you. Not tedious though to constantly remember to raise the truck when you park and perform that extra task? The beauty or Teslas is you don’t have to push a button or turn a key when parking. Just put it in P and hop out.

I hopefully pick up tomorrow. Leaning heavily towards your settings at first.

I hear that “relaxed” is a much more comfortable ride over bumps and potholes. Is that everyone’s experience?

I let my kid pick it to distract him from whatever thing is annoying him at the moment. He likes it yellow, white, purple, pink, and off.
You know what works for you. But tip: some studies suggest that blue is calming and red is irritating; and that pink, although flattering to some people's appearance if reflected from their face, is more like red in its effects.

So the Cybertruck remembers every place you put it in high. So if once you do it once, when you return there is auto raises when you park. So just do it once for places like driveway or gym or work parking lot and it remembers it. Super dope

I take it auto lower entry must be turned off and you put it in park once when you arrive but as you leave and drive it lowers back to the Medium setting?

Correct. I didn’t even know there was an auto entry mode. Even on high it’s super easy to get in. But I am 6’2. But you are correct I just park it put it on high and then when I pull away and drive away it auto lowers and next time I go back to a spot it auto Raises when I park

Acceleration: Chill but move to Standard when in traffic or anticipating situations (undefined)

Ride & Handling: Relaxed but move to Focused when on roads with tight curves

Ride Height: Low as most of my driving is on freeways and it will go to low anyway (72 mph is my minimum speed)

While I prefer to have a high park in "public places", I use Entry in my driveway and most other locations.

I don't want the compressor running any more than it has to.

Ambient lighting: Blue (peaceful). My son has a new Model 3 Highland, which is red and his ambient lighting is red, which matches his car.

I tested and it didn't work on "Off Road' "Extract". Every time I park I always put it on Extract. I would save me lot of times to unbuckle the seat belt/Park to enable Extract mode before leaving my truck.

Correct, I'm in Off-Road High, which the base height for that mode and isn't speed limited. I'm testing that as I plan to run a large wheel/tire setup in the future.

In "On-road" mode, you have Entry, Low, Medium, and High-limited 25mph.
Are you still on this off-road mode on High? I get my truck next week and I am used to driving a lifted f-150 on 37’s so I would LOVE to stay as high as I can (I don’t care how much range I lose)

Can you set just park to high? I actually backed in today, as it lowered it started cursing the rocks on the curb I was parked over(rear overhang). This was parked with auto park too.

For now (just got it today!) I'm using entry mode (very low, and seat backed away from the squircle a bit), and the settings it came with, standard/relaxed. That's mostly ok, and the low entry mode helps because one of my legs does not appreciate a huge step up. That does mean either avoiding overhanging curbs or remembering to change settings before unbuckling seat belt.

I'll probably set it to standard/focused/higher soon.

I'll doubtless try beast mode and more tweaks after a week or two of just getting used to the size and dimensions and overall handling. But probably I'd leave it in standard/focused/higher most of the time. Seems to me beast mode would be asking for tickets or tire wear most of the time, unless one remembers to drive with a very light foot.
