Did you have to approve your quote to get those delivered. I'm waiting to approve, still deciding. But if I can get those delivered without approving, it'll make things much easier for me.
Sorrry for delay in reply.

I did have to approve my installer quote. I did that 4 moths before the Gateway finally arrived.

More about that and how my install turned out to successful but in weird ways (tomorrow).

I have a similar issue. Received the Universal Wall Connector but not Gateway 3V (who knows why it's not V3).

Tesla Powerwall Support redirected me to Tesla Shop support, which does not have a phone line nor a chat option. Only email. It took them a week to get back to me with a vague response that they will let me know when Gateway ships.

Fortunately the installer I contracted (Faraday Electric) offered to install one of their gateway 3v from inventory and then pick up mine when it arrives. If you have not contracted an installer, you may try talking to them.

The install went well and wall connector works. However the Gateway fails to register. Tesla app shows an error message that the Gateway is already registered with another account. Installer is not sure what the problem is but claim it happened to other customers. I've been trying to reach Tesla Power Share support since Friday. Waited 20 minutes on their phone support line on Friday and 40 minutes today (Monday).

Finally connected to Tesla Power Share support today. We walked through registration information and their conclusion was that the installer did not commission it correctly and need to come back to re-commission.

Since Power Share launched in March, we are apparently caught in the user testing cycle of a new product that was not tested very well prior to launch. Hope they tested the Truck itself better :)
I know this is an old post, but what are the odds that the 3V gateway that your installer had "in inventory" was actually pre-configured from the factory for another customer? I know my installer told me this morning that he had received a gateway at HIS house, and called me to see if I could check the tracking because it just had his name on it, but then he realized it was for another Cybertruck customer. My gateway and universal charger came right to my house, not sure why the other customer's went to my electrician's house...

PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!

Gateway arrived. I have the 3V as opposed to the [V]3 (super distinct naming convention by Tesla. How could anybody be confused?)
....
NOPE! I ended up with both types of Gateways. The 3V, which I purchased with my Foundation series credits, controls my Universal Wall Charger and Vehicle to Home charging capability of my CyberTruck.

And the Gateway 3 which controls my 2 Powerwall IIIs allowing them to be recharged by my 34 PVs and/or the grid; or just my CyberTruck (thanks to the 3V interface), or my CyberTruck and the PVs; but not the CyberTruck and the grid at the same time.

It's a long story and it's entirely possible I still don't fully understand how it went down. Nevertheless my installers Intermountain Wind & Solar (IW&S), ordered the Gateway 3 despite my assurances that I wouldn't need it because the 3V could run everything by itself. I came to that false conclusion after spending hours reading and re-reading posts & threads here on CT Owner's Club.

Lucky for me, IW&S kept the Gateway 3 on hand until my Gateway 3V finally arrived and their electricians could visually confirm that I was misinformed or maybe had just misinterpreted?

Anyway the electricians were polite enough to go thru the motions by calling Tesla's Energy support who said that at some point there might be a software solution to allow a single Gateway 3V to do the work of the dual gateway system, but that if I wanted full capability now, the easiest and best solution was to agree to allow IW&S to install both. Which of course I did, while apologizing profusely for wasting everybody's time with my ignorance.

And the difference between the 2 gateway models? As near as the electricians and I could tell was that the 3V had an extra control board.

So the electricians connected a spaghetti box of heavy-duty wire as directed by Tesla Energy over the phone and everything works amazing well. I can connect and disconnect from the grid digitally and remotely (Tesla phone app) without having to manually "throw" the disconnect. Indeed, if I had left my CyberTruck connected via the Universal Wall Charger, I could be on Mars and the Truck would start powering my house automatically if the grid failed and it would stop charging the moment Sun rose to recharge the Powerwalls and/or grid power was restored. Apparently all of this is possible thanks to having both versions of the Gateway. With an e-stop button for the powerwalls or individual (somewhat hidden) on/off switches on the Powerwalls themselves, I can simulate a grid failure to test the Powersharing from the CT.

There was a lot of syncing my phone with each device but the only thing that was truly perplexing was this weird 4-day moratorium that Tesla requires before the poweshare button and feature shows up on the phone app or the CyberTruck control screen. If I hadn't found mention of this here on CT Owner's Club, I might have wasted a few days tinkering and badgering Tesla Energy tech support for the explanation. Perhaps Tesla will add that key info to CT Online Owner's manual at some point?

Otherwise everything worked on the very first try, in every charging and discharging scenario.

Grid disconnect on the left. The V3 Gateway (CyberTruck & universal wall charger) is on the right with the green control board (2nd Gateway called just "Gateway 3" not yet installed at the time of this pic).

Both Gateways installed with their protective cover plates. Note: Load switch (welding shop vs Tesla charger) and old home charger were installed by yours truly 6 years prior.

The 2 Powerwall IIIs.

Now I can charge 2 of our 3 Teslas at the same time. But of course I don't usually park them as stupidly as photographed.

(34) 410W SILFab Prime Solar panels (made in USA). Besides having LFP battery chemistry (iron provides more charge charge cycles less chance of thermal runaway, etc.) and a bit higher discharge rate, the onboard Inverters allow connection of 20kW worth of solar panel per PWIII, I would need almost 3 times the roof area to get the (100) 410W PVs installed before maxing out 2 PWIIIs.

Maybe I'll build a really big ramada to replace the shade sail and get more surface area for mounting even more PVs? Can you ever have too many PVs?

I'm sure there are a few different ways to do these kind of installs. This is just how mine turned out. Glad if it helps you. Sorry if it just confuses you. I've been there... for months. And it sucks!

I know this is an old post, but what are the odds that the 3V gateway that your installer had "in inventory" was actually pre-configured from the factory for another customer? My gateway and universal charger came right to my house, not sure why the other customer's went to my electrician's house...
I thought that could be a possibility and asked the installer multiple times. They said the equipment comes completely reset and is not tied to any account. Who knows what is actually going on. It was definitely far from a smooth experience, but it got done. We will see how it performs the next time power goes out.
