The "new horn" is using the external speakers to make that noise. I can't recall the exact version when it was enabled but I believe all Cybertrucks have the hardware.

It appears from this post that Tesla has launched a new horn on Cybertruck. It's deeper-throated and almost sounds like a goose.

It can easily be a setting to turn it on and off. I love this sound, tried everything I could to get a real version on my motorcycle, but the modules were just to big.

I hate that you can’t keep the horn you set, replace it, put it in park, and it disabled it. I at least want to drive around my neighborhood and honk at the kids with the fart.

Are you saying that it is only set for the one drive, and not stored with your profile?

I took delivery of my CT yesterday
Thought that after using the horn there was a malfunction and was making a punch list of service issues but after reading these posts I guess not,

Dang! I just tried mine and it still has the traditional horn sound even though I just installed the latest software.
