Folks, looking at the screen that appears in the message, this is a YouTuber trying to make money.

Don't watch and they don't make money and continue the crap.

One of the things that you learn when getting a pilot's license is that the instructor blindfolds you and then turn the plane into all sorts of directions and attitudes and put it into usually some dangerous state and then takes the blindfold off and tells the student to recover. Just reading some of the comments, that what it sounds like this guy did.
It's still a beta product and it's not perfect. It's easy to find situations that it fails (and so would many humans)

But watching hours of FSD working correctly is boring. That's why that part is not shown!

I am a new to TESLA driver. I am looking forward to FSD... but it can kill you (or let you kill yourself!). There is a reason it is monitored, the accident -I am posting the link below- happened not 20 miles from my house to a gentleman I had just purchased a loaf of bread from at the farmer's market. HIs bread was OUTSTANDING! It is a tragic and senseless loss. The TESLA Model Y both warned and asked (demanded?) he take over the wheel. If the CT's FSD errs toward conservatism, I for one, can LIVE with this.

Let me add a couple more thoughts. In my professional career as an USAF fighter pilot and instructor, I have survived by learning that practically everything is trying to kill you. The enemy on the ground, the enemy in the other jet, the weather, your own jet, and the student pilot (especially!). IF you have your autopilot engaged, yes, it is ALWAYS "monitored, because your own autopilot coupled with your complacency will kill you, too! (Don't even get me started on rear view mirrors. Fighter pilots spend almost as much time looking behind them as they do in front!! I do wish the CT had a better full-time rear-view mirror to monitor the threats,)

Not Tesla's fault, none the less a very tragic story...

I'm sure there's a lot more to that story, look for the after-incident investigations.

I've had to do Search and Rescue on a quote large AF aircraft that was doing low level terrain avoidance runs in the lower Appalachians. He didn't think that the aircraft was going to clear the ridge and disengaged the AP. Well, I was having to do SAR.

Most of the accident reports with FSD have been found to be wrong. Most often FSD wasn't in use and someone trying to just make a lot of money with a Tesla lawsuit. And many of the remainder showing the driver was egregiously in the wrong. i.e. DUI.
And 6 months in the development of FSD is often night and day.

But yes, it isn't feature complete. It should be monitored.
I've been driving it since it was created. I'm still alive, cars have no damage from FSD and between my wife and I, probably have 100,000 miles with FSD.

Ed,
You don't need to read an after-accident report. Just read the article I posted; it is all explained there.

Yes, I have a Cybertruck YouTube channel that is monetized. . What the hell do you think the people running this website we're texting on are doing? You see those advertisements on the right? I have 1000's of posts on multiple platforms, 99.9% are positive, educational and tesla / cybertruck informative. Beyond having fun, promoting the cybertruck and making next to nothing, I thought this was a moment where safety outweighed influencing.

Rule number 1 about owning a Tesla is never speak in a negative tone about Elon or Tesla. I’m learning this too. Don’t sweat it OP, most of us got the point of the video. Thanks for your service as a firefighter.
