Tesla installed new Goodyear snow tires and psi figures seem to report correct values but in Service Mode TPMS will not pair and Type of tire shows as “Continental” and computed range does not seem to calculate correctly. Can some one tell me how to pair TPMS or advise if I may have a faulty TPMS. I’ve repeatedly tried to pair in service mode but when I drive with Service mode TPMS pair menu active, nothing happens. (Service menu TPMS screen shown in attached picture)

I think Continental is the TPMS manufacturer, nothing to do with the tire type.
I haven't found a tire type change procedure, the TPMS would not be type specific to automatically update the system.

ITT is not just the tire type that doesn’t update, but each individual TPMS in the service pair process should show the unique I’d number for each TPMS if paired correctly, and it doesn’t.

But are they showing in the normal UI?
psi figures seem to report correct values
If you have an air source, partly deflate obesity to verify functionality.

Yes, tire pressure info is showing up and appears to be accurate. But no I have not partially deflated a single tire to verify tire/TPMS position information

Try measuring while driving...

Live TPMS is the difference between knowing you're losing pressure and being able to exit to a service station and being stuck on the side of the highway in a rain storm. At least, it was for me.

so if im reading those instructions posted by Mongo, does that mean you have to have a laptop connected with a program (toolbox 3) to swap these out. I ordered new wheels and tires with new sensors, and planned to just take the stock tires off and put them in my garage. is it better to put the sensors currently on the stock tires in the new set up?

That is the service procedure.
From OP, it seems to be working with just swapping tires and driving, similar to other Teslas.
