I feel like supercharging is incredibly inconvenient, I’d rather just come home and plug in when I sleep then wake up, I’ve had a loaner the last week because my gear oil pump had to be replaced, so I’ve been taking advantage of the loaner’s free supercharging and it’s been driving me nuts wasting time at a supercharger when I could be home. I couldn’t ever see doing this for an extended period of time. There’s multiple superchargers on my way home including one like a mile away so it’s not like they are even out of the way. Home charging is worth way more.

I feel the same for me.. at first when I saw this deal I was a little bummed, but I’ve never used a supercharger once I got my home charger set up. It’s way easier and I never need to use one outside my home unless I’m on a road trip, which is few and far between

Your analogies don't make sense.

Do you lower everyone's rent, or just on the new lease after the market turned on you?

Do you make deals like, free water with rent? Or another utility that doesn't cost you alot but you can get them to put a bigger down payment?'

Stop trying to compare private deals with the auto world. Your analogies don’t make sense because of the law. Communities dictate residential properties water and sewer are paid by the landlord. Commercial property is different than residential and the commercial tenants pay their water and sewer charges when metered separately. If not ilthey can be charged a “ common use cost”. This is not the same. This is putting your secondary customers above your initial “Foundation Sales” and as a business owner I would never do this to my customers regardless of it was a free come or a banana split. Look at it this way. You can get three months of free supercharging with the new purchase of a Y or 3. But not lifetime. That is an incentive. Lifetime supercharging is an insult to me for my purchase being a “Founder”. Step up Tesla do the right thing

Can’t charge at home on a road trip. That’s what supercharging is for.

Hahaha, compare it to Elon's compensation package. ? ? ?
That would easily cover the cost of all ‘free supercharging for life’ FS purchases, if it were given to ALL FS customers. Tesla buyers “signing the petition” should be considering where the money went….

For those with adequate home charging capability, yes, supercharging is unnecessary. As mentioned previously, for many, supercharging is the usual method of charging if living in condos or apartments without the charging capabilities.
We have “free supercharging” on our other cars and only use them for trips. I say “free” because believe me, we PAID for it upfront with our much higher costs of our cars as we were fairly early adopters. We knew what we were getting and we knew the costs.
With the early adopters CTs, same story. We knew we were not getting free supercharging and we knew the costs. I don’t feel Tesla pulled the wool over my eyes. But I do feel that if Tesla did do a little (big?) something for us early adopters - free supercharging forever or for 5 years or whatever, it would tip the balance in Tesla’s favor developing a more loyal fan base and more free advertising, fervent refferals
No one forced me to plunk down my money for the CT - I thoroughly enjoy it. But it has not been without its bumps - the PowerShare issues, the $4000 install credit nonsense, the voucher issues, the missing light bar, the missing wheel covers, and where are my d-rings?, panel alignment problems. Want to erase most of that ill will and replace it with “good will”? This might be the answer. I will only use supercharging on trips - I promise!

I for one when I purchase a vehicle it should and is required to get me from A to Z not every 5k miles break down and that's exactly what every CT has done to everyone who has purchased it. 5 times for me at 25k miles. FN sucks.
Everyone knows first editions are going to be buggy. Only a fool would think otherwise. I tell people to avoid buying v1.0 of any product unless they want to be early adopters and deal with the issues. FS was beta quality, but I expected that. You should take your losses and sell it. Get a Dodge or Toyota and see how many issues you get with an established model. Maybe this is your first truck? I hear nothing but complaints from Bronco, Toyota, and Dodge new truck buyers. Do your homework first.

I am scheduled to take delivery of a non-FS Cybertruck on the 31st.

Now I am considering switching to the FS with free supercharging.

We were going to transfer FSD from a 2018 Model 3 to our non-FS Cybertruck, but we plan to keep the M3 for another 100,000 miles. Our 10 yr supercharging costs on the Cybertruck are estimated to be ~$12,000 based on our current charging patterns, but could be more as we do more road trips.

Seems like it works out for our situation:
We keep the FSD on our M3 ($8000) , and we get supercharging (~$12,000+ value to us). Don’t see many downsides to this.

For the FS owners out there, how do you like the white interior and cyber wheels? Any other considerations ?
You can get the FS with gray interior as well as any wheel package now.

More then pissed about being a early supporter thinking i got a limited edition just to be told i got suckered into oaying top dollar. Got the voucher but cant find enough in stock item in the store to use it or lose it. They wount allow the vocher to be broken up into smaller vocher.

it seem that tesla doesn't reward their most dedicated clients . Learned my leason to wait and see the final product and not listen to the sale pitch.

If I was one that towed a lot and I was holding off buying any truck EV because of the increased amount of charging for towing, I would definitely get a CT Foundation now with the free lifetime supercharging. I hope word gets around to all the ICE tow’ers out there before the deadline. I think it’s a great move by Tesla.

You can use in app, wallet, to pay for supercharging.

If you tow a lot you should be buying the GMC Sierra EV, hands down a better towing EV.

That's been disputed. Real tests done and with even a larger batt, it gets same mileage as CT...OutofSpec did testing.
