Regrets: Expensive, depreciation hit is insane, the interior is subpar and looks like a Model 3, the bed of the truck is lacking, the headlights are lacking, the frunk is a joke, rear seat room is more like a compact truck, the long dashboard is hilarious….

But other than that no regrets, best vehicle I’ve ever owned(although I always say that when I buy a new one ?)

Musk is genius and should really take over the truck market

Absolutely zero regrets, I took delivery on 11/10 of a non FS CB. I have put on 1000 miles in 10 days and even used it to move into a new home! It’s been the best vehicle I have ever owned. My kids also love it, way more space on the inside. Wife also reports a way smoother ride than our Y (which has 103k miles on it since June 2021(also zero problems).

It’s exactly what I expected and I think the perception of quality is better, they’re using better plastics to make it at least feel better. But don’t expect Mercedes interior.

Overall, the top end beast version was cheaper than a plaid and it’s way more than that, so I’m happy and so is my stock

I did Foundation series because I thought otherwise would be waiting years. Turned out that was not the case and I could have saved about 10K so I regret that.

As far as owning it I really regret letting my wife drive it a few times because now its her favorite car ever, she calls it hers and we are on a path where it looks like the only outcome might be a second Cybertruck.
We're not buying until the FS ends (it's a $30k premium here in Canada) but we took one for a spin the other day. The Mrs was scared to drive it but I insisted she get in on the fun, and now I'm in the same boat.

I didn’t notice any major defects, gaps or issues, will run this truck into the ground. I keep my vehicles for years and use them as intended.

+1 no regrets. Glad I waited for a non-Foundation. Figured it would have been at least mid '25 before getting a non-Foundation. Happy it turned out to be Q4 '24. Had I paid for a Foundation, I would have regretted it; I don't find value in FSD and a lot of the other options.

Oh God! I would have regretted NOT getting it, knowing what I know now! It's far better than I thought it would be (and I had pretty high expectations).

I have a fairly early build (VIN #44xx) and haven't had any issues and it all looks well put together and drives like a good dream.

Since I got a FS CB at (knocks on wood, throws salt over shoulder) a timing that seems problem free, I'm quite happy so far. Been a few decades since I drove anything that big (10 y/o '69 Galaxie wagon) , but that's an easy adjustment with camera view and FSD to help. And if I survived going from my 1st car (2 cyl front wheel drive Honda Minicar in Japan) to my 2nd (that Galaxie wagon), I should be able to handle anything. :)

A couple weeks Tesla experience a year prior, in a rental base model, confirmed that its control differences (including regenerative braking) didn't bother me. And I loved TACC, which unlike dumb cruise control, is usable in city traffic without constant tweaking.

I definitely appreciated FSD on a recent trip from south of Baltimore (bad, with Key Bridge gone) to northern Long Island (Staller Center, Stony Brook University - just plain bad, aside from very minor local roads). It did not work perfectly (no, didn't take notes) but very much well enough to keep me from having to deal with so much hideous traffic as to be worn down more by it.

You love the truck ? Damn I would hate to hear your complaints if you hated it ?

tell me about it, this is the supposed three car garage at the house We just moved out of ?
It’s made me
Completely stop driving my M3 because I have my bronco in the garage with the M3 so I have to park the CT in front of my garage so if I wanted to use the M3 I would have to drive the CT down the driveway to the street to get it out and I’m lazy ?

I’m about to place an order for a Cybertruck. I’ve owned two EVs and no ICEVs for a few years now, so I understand what EV ownership entails, including long trip travel.

The question is not about owning an EV. Rather it’s about owning the Cybertruck. Does anyone have any regrets and would rather he hadn’t bought it. If so, could you list your reasons.

Thank you.
Not at all. A few small annoying SC things that come with being an early adopter. I've never enjoyed driving a vehicle as much as the CT.

Same. Haven't driven my M3P in about a month.
