We can reasonably assume that Tesla kept producing the Foundation Series until the demand ran out. And based on the numbers, it appears that FS sales were demand-limited in 3Q 2024: the demand was significantly lower than the potential supply.
You could reach this conclusion by crunching the numbers. Or you could simply check Tesla's inventory website. It's been two months since the Foundation Series was discontinued in the US, yet Tesla is still offering to deliver new FS Cybertrucks in several states (currently CA, TX, LA, AL, GA, FL, and SC). So it's pretty clear that FS demand was lower than FS supply.

But this only applies to FS CTs. It's too early to draw any meaningful conclusions about the supply/demand situation for non-Foundation CTs. Obviously the non-Foundation CTs are significantly lower in price, so you would expect demand to be significantly higher.

200 miles in NY metro, no Cybertruck inventory, all spoken for and the count on the road eclipses F150 lightnings, Rivians, and Lucids combined
you also see them everywhere, in the mountains, running around and at the beach off roading

Tesla hasn't listed any non-Foundation CTs in the inventory website yet; it only shows the remaining Foundation series. So most parts of the country (including NY) won't see any Cybertruck inventory. The inventory website only finds CTs in a limited number of states where the Foundation Series is still available for delivery (currently CA, TX, LA, AL, GA, SC, and FL).

In April, Rivian announced production of its 100,000th vehicle. Cybertruck sales through 3Q 2024 have been estimated at 28,250.

InsideEVs have some good reporters. Just because you don't like what they are saying doesn't mean it isn't true. This story has been confirmed from multiple sites.
Right, but the reason has NOT been confirmed to be a demand problem. So anyone’s opinion is as valid as the “reporters”. They want the clicks or they don’t get paid. It’s likely a standard retooling, they’ve done this before for just about all of the lines.

It's not speculation, it's math. I was 330,000 in line. I now have a 39,000 vin in my driveway. So lucky me, I was in the position to purchased one after saving for the truck. Reality check, the price was at $60,000. Now the Basic truck, walking out the door, nothing special, Non-FS,+ FSD Delivered is $93,000. Plus Insurance. Not to many people can drop that amount of cash. As for the rest of the people that finance that amount ? I'd like to see some payment numbers and insurance. The CT is on it's way down...They have to start the 2WD and reduce the price to feed the lower price range. Then remember they do have to do maintenance on the line.
Why do people keep using the I was 90000,00000 in line. That didn't mean shit. That calculator was not factual. And not by Tesla (which some people thought it was...)

Lots of stupid people preordered more than 5 like its a game. It's a 100$. It meant nothing.

That does not sound like something Elon would do.

Cybertruck VINs are around 50,000 now and mine from march is 1955. So seems like they are going to make around 55-60k this year.

Next year will be interesting. This year we had a lot of the hardcore buyers that had been waiting.

I think Tesla learned its lesson a bit from the Model S plaid devaluation fiasco - especially because their margins are barely positive on Cybertruck. As I've mentioned before, I've monitored the used Cybertruck market carefully since introduction. There is no sign of overproduction or collapsing demand there.

There is still not a single Cybertruck on the used market for less than ~$85k. With the non-FS AWD coming in at $80k, this indicates that demand>supply for the time being; and Tesla doesn't seem to be in a rush to flood the market with trucks they are selling at a loss.
