Even if you have locks enabled child locks enable that doesn’t matter. If your elbow leans on the window switch, the windows will go down. Can’t we lock them even from the driver seat?

Lots of cars allow windows to be locked.

And agree this is a pretty big issue - my dogs like to stand on the armrests and are forever putting the windows down. My kids do it by accident as well in the back seat. Agree we should be able to lock all windows easily

Which ones lock them from the driver’s controls? That’s what they’re for: kids, dogs, and hostages, but when the driver tells the window to go down it’s going down, even if the locks are on.

I doubt we will ever see this added as a feature since disabling the ability to lower the window is an egress safety issue.

One solution it looks like maybe I can 3-D print something that fits over the four window buttons. It’s mostly my window that I accidentally lean and open, but I’d like to keep all those buttons from being accidentally pressed. Seems like a simple 3-D print.

It is true these window controls are easier to hit. When my Frenchie is in my lap she constantly was rolling all the windows down! It would drive me crazy. I finally got this little plastic cover off Etsy and it worked perfectly I cut it down to make it smaller to look better

Good work! But...
You really shouldn't drive with an animal in your lap.

? why do you have to be that person? You really shouldn’t drive with your windshield tinted or in Cali any front window you shouldn’t run yellow/ red lights you should go over the speed limit. Crazy what we pick and chose what to criticize but let go of things that work for us. Funny part it isn’t illegal like the other things i mentioned, She isn’t a Rottweiler don’t worry ?
Because that's sent animals out the window, into the windshield, killed by airbags, or distracted driving resulted in accidents...

You can do something you shouldn't, but honestly, I'd rather you not. But if you want to sit at the cliff parking or use it in a parade or on your farm, whatever.

I changed it. I don’t drive I let Tesla drive me or I let her drive. I keep her in a harness on a leash and hold her so she can’t fall out.
