Is the 15k with a full load of fuel and water? I thought they were only 9k dry and trailers were under 2k.

Ya, some fuel, huge tri axel trailer (it's gotta be pushing 3k). Can't remember if the 9k was with motors or not. It has a 300 gallon tank so 2400 lbs full (it wasn't full today). Maybe I embellished. My F250 Powerstroke acts like it's 15k, I know that. Can't tell how heavy anything is behind a Tesla tho. I push the pedal the same amount with and without a load ?. I swear if I stepped on it the boat would slide off the trailer.

Coolness, was trying to reconcile the values since we are looking at getting a travel trailer near max GVWR. 9k was with both engines. Gasoline is only 6 lbs per gallon, so 1,800 pounds for 300 gal. 30 gallon potable water adds 240. In use, the live tanks can add a bunch more weight (but then there is no trailer).

Available power/ torque on EVs makes towing, let alone driving, surreal. Driving through town at 25-30 and then getting to a hill there is no change in motor noise versus an automatic ICE that needs to boost RPM and/or exhaust note to climb.

I sell boats and frequently have something attached to the hitch. My personal CC is a Crevalle 33 with twin Merc 400's. 300 gallons fuel, 30 water, Seakeeper, air conditioning and trailer has her pushing 13000lbs. The CT did well moving her around.

It's more about shape and frontal area than weight.
Expect ~50% range, worse if going highway speeds.

I tow a 28' WorldCat 7300#, trailer 2500#, gear, 1/2 fuel and water approximately 2000#.
Travel less than 60 MPH and average between 1200 & 1300 w/m.
Power and comfort supreme.
Awaiting the extended range option.
