i wasn’t having a lot of luck with my little hand held battery operated tire inflator. Took for ever. This may be over kill but it works great and not that expensive. The 120 volt air compressor was only $112 and 50’ of hose and hand held inflator another $30. Compressor is quite. Fits neatly into the trunk. If the stainless starts to rust I can always spray paint the Cybertruck.?

Did you know if all the tires get much below 45 psi the Cybertruck won’t let it be put in drive. Low pressure on the tires show up on the screen and remains there until you inflate the tires back to 50 psi. When trying to inflate them with a little hand held inflator I lost tire pressure and the car locked me out from being put in drive.

But people have been in off-road mode with low enough inflation to break the bead? This doesn’t compute. ?

This must be a new feature as it didn’t use to not allow you to put it in drive.

There were a few times where I was around 25 PSI while off road and decided to drive the 20 minutes to inflate them instead of using the portable.

Not just Tesla, but I think it's great that most of the new trucks now have onboard power that gives you endless options.

Can anyone confirm this? Is it maybe different in offroad mode?

Yea better to get a plugin one with extension cord. Cheaper than Tesla. Add repair kit and you’re ready.

I wasn’t sure whether there is a cigarette lighter style outlet in the CT, and I always hated the long cord and long hose, so I picked up a DeWalt tire inflator.

Not mine, I was down at 20PSI for sand dunes and had no trouble, even after getting back into normal mode on the road to drive a bit to fill up

Same here, perhaps the OP needs to shift into Off road?
or some other issue?

I adjust my tire pressures monthly/before any road trip. I like the efficiency of a properly filled tire. I'm obsessive, I know. But cheap tire inflators take forever to just put a few PSI in each tire. I love this idea!

So this is “just in case you get a flat” ?

Did you buy this online? If so, would you mind sharing a link?

We just ordered my wife's CT and will be taking delivery next Friday, so time to start acquiring accessories!

Thanks!

I check my PSI here and there and have a small pancake compressor but I don’t carry in the truck

I've been stranded on the side of the road in a rain storm, on a motorcycle, half way across the country, with a crappy compressor and cheap tire plugs. I keep serious kit on my truck. Once bitten, twice shy and all. hah

Would you just call Tesla roadside and wait? Some times it takes hours if weather is bad...
