Damn! I didn’t know that airstream was going to try to get in on this action. A lot of similar features to Pebble and obviously a much more extensive track record, we’ll see, I think I had to give pebble 1000 bucks.
I have seen little evidence of progress with the Airstream eStream and Pebble seems to be missing all of their progress dates.

LightShip just closed on a $34 million Series B financing initiative. Of interest one of the investors in LightShip is Thor Industries, parent company of Airstream. Says a lot.

Lightship's current workforce of 80 is heavily populated with former Tesla employees. Very rare to see so much venture capital money going into a new RV company.

Yeah man, after watching that video I have to admit I was pretty smitten. they have my full attention. Watching Kyle absolutely lose his nerd-shit was also a factor in piquing my interest.

Looks like the Lightship has no awning. I'm guessing it would have caused too much drag? And storage looks a little bit smaller.

Correct. AE stands for Aero Electric. This trailer is designed to achieve the lowest drag coefficient possible in "Road Mode" (ie canopy down). The trailer, while in tow by the tow vehicle is about as drag efficient moving down the road as a Tesla Model 3, using something less than 250 watt hour per mile while sitting in the wake of the tow vehicle. In order to achieve this all four sides have to be as clean as possible. Even the belly has been cleaned up. Axles are not exposed instead they are recessed into the belly.

Much of the additional storage in the AE.1 comes in airline style track mounted storage systems running down each side of the ceiling. You can add as many bins as you need for storage.
