On bed length...

How tall do we think those tires are? 35"? And we can see in this picture that the bed goes under that overhang from the cab. It sure looks like you could easily fit two of those tires lined up in the bed, with room to spare. I do think it's still 6.5 feet.
Here you go.. if you are suggesting 35" tire diameter... Bed length is 5.5 feet from inside of tailgate to edge of the "overhang" as shown. Or 6 feet from inside of tailgate to bed wall if approx in line with the roof window to black plastic trim edge. These are approximates as I did not reverse distortion of the angle/lens.

Truck is 222" long.

If anyone has accurate tire size I can adjust the measurements.
Tesla Cybertruck ? [Update: NOT Production Wiper] New Cybertruck design spied! Shortened front, no door handles, side mirrors, curved windshield glass! [Dec. 10] ct bed measurements approx

If this is the case and it is really close to this size and the overhang cuts into the wheel chock placement/interferes with the front mudguard.. then its gone from useful to not useful for my biggest usage desire as my vespas are 69.3" length max. And these are smaller length two wheeled toys. This means its completely not useful for anyone trying to load a harley or bigger motorcycle into back with tailgate up.

I couldn't close that video fast enough. Annoying music.
Seriously. My kids were in the room and watching the video with me and then a bunch of F-bombs come out in the music.

If you guys dont mind me giving my 2 cents...

First, the windshield wiper is something they need to change. That big ass wiper near the A pillar might block the view and is just plain ugly. And second, I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve by removing the doors handles... the model 3 handles are hell for us northerners with the snow and ice. A door without handles at all is just unrealistic. At least they need to add an option for us to help open it.

I agree it is a bit disapointing but not the end of the world. you can still leave the gate open and it you have other things in the back use a net or tie everything down.

I already knew this, but there is NO WAY that is going to fit in my garage! My S is already hogging a bunch of space and isn't near as long as the CT in the picture. Not a deal breaker for me, but I know it is a concern for a lot of folks.
I never planed ever to park my CT in the garage. If it has a solar option, with side fold-out sails... that thing is staying parked in my driveway to soak up free energy when I'm working from home part of the week.

I don't get why everyone is so bent on getting it to fit in a garage. You worried it's going to get dirty or rust or something?

If I can't lay a 4x8 sheet of ply or drywall flat in that bed with zero overhang over the end of the tailgate, this is now a deal-breaker for me. That is such a common task for me (hauling 8' boards) that it is a major reason I have been holding out for the CT.

If that's gone now, this vehicle just lost so much utility for me that I might actually bow out if this is confirmed - no joke. I'd stick with my PacHy until there's a full-BEV alternative.
looks like a "Y" is starting to take a bigger step in my thinking
In case anyone is worried about losing the upper light bar:
ok, but the light thing is over 22 months ago.....so I am not holding my breath

I do that now with my ridgeline. I was really excited to have a fully enclosed bed with all my toys loaded. Its not a deal breaker.. just severely disappointing if they eat away at that bed any more than this. I still have hope that my measurements are ball park enough where I have a few inches to spare to get everything in with no damage to fenders and tailgate closed. But its not looking good for anyone with a full sized motorcycle who was hoping to load it up in the back with tailgate closed.

At least if they keep it at this and don't make it any smaller, if it wont fit with tailgate closed.. my bikes full weight will be in the bed and not at all sitting on the open tailgate like it is currently on my ridgeline. Currently back tires sit squarely in the middle of the tailgate laid flat down.

Those are definitely NOT 35 inch tires, maybe 33s— compare to the original prototype, these are much smaller road going tires

It looks like the tonneau cover is slightly deployed which would give the bed a small overhang, make it look shorter, AND hide a pass-through. Anything else I can do for you?

Maybe the drone is stuck in partial-picture-zoom and that's why the wiper looks so... No, I can't do it. It's just huge.

They are still black edges, not silver. The bed itself is black now instead of SS which is probably not helping the appearance of smaller bed. Kinda like a hall of mirrors seems longer/wider with ss bed before. So who knows until we get definitive specs on bed length. It also looks like they might have just slid a black plastic box liner into the existing bed which makes it seem smaller cause the plastic box itself seems to have some thickness to it.

Overall it looks more compact due to the front, but it looks more aggresive. Hoping the overall length is only changed at the front and didn't affect everything from the cab back.....also, looks like you can see the back seat head rests indicating a pass-thru

ct.webp
sorry, but that does not look any where close to a 6.7ft bed......also is plastic.....if were not careful, we just might end up with a Tacoma/Tundra with electric motors

I hate the look of the curved windshield. Go back to flat panel please...if the change was for aesthetics, it was a fail.
I sure hope that Tesla is just testing out some things on the wiper. I can't tell if it is a wiper that travels on an arc or straight left to right. If left to right, like on a track, then I'd hope you would get the option of storing it in many different spots so as to change the way it looks when not in use and give you the most visibility.
Those look like 33" tires to me. I bet they leave the factory with 33" tires because on a truck, 33" tires vs. 35" equals way more range. A bit of a disappointment again if my assumption on tire size is true. That means an immediate spend for larger tires would have to happen after laying out massive money for the CT.
I again hope side mirrors is just a test rig and they will have something completely different for the final design. Basically everything this truck appears to represent is a huge disappointment from what was revealed with the prototype.
