This is once again one of those moments when all of Tesla's EV competitors where thinking "OK, we got this figured out now, all we need to do is start manufacturing faster and we will be caught up to Tesla." Then they see this video and its like "OMG! We are even farther behind than when we started this EV manufacturing process!" o_O:eek::oops:

A couple years ago I went mountain biking with a group of guys. It was rainy and we’re out on some technical challenging trails. One of the guys who shows up is this over weight gray beard Guatemalan guy. He’s wearing what look like fishing suspenders. I figured he’d be slowing us down all day long.

Nah… dude handed it to me bad. I barely saw him once we got dropped off.

I suspect Legacy auto feels like I did that day. They almost certainly wrote Tesla and Musk off as a Silicon Valley pipe environmental nut-job and ignored them as long as they possible could.

Must of all been downhill where stick figure riders still have to pedal to stop being blown up the hill backwards... ?

Reminds me of when I was in US Army Basic, this Italian national (green card) who was an engineer at NASA and joined the National Guard to up his security clearance so he could work on more advanced projects. He was 14 or so years older than most of us. He had a pot belly, spindly legs, and was not much to look at. This young guy was talking about his track career and how he was going to smoke this 2 mile run. The Italian guy bet him he would finish first. The young guy burnt himself out in the first mile and the Italian dude reeled him in the second mile.

That saying about Books and Covers has been around a while for a reason.

Yep, they wrote him off as a dreamer! He wants to do things that can't be done. Hahaha, look at his truck. He wanted to come up with something outside-the-box. So he designed a triangle.

You should post a new thread for this one… it’s gotta be golden given the topic and the YouTuber doing it.
Thank for the suggestion. I will :)

The 3mm Stainless makes a stronger frame, and the triangle is the strongest shape, and the battery pack reinforces below against the stronger front and rear casts..

The very top at its peak is only a sliver in comparison. To me, that looks like a weak point.

I'm not an engineer, to me, it looks like the stainless offers strength and rigidity against the elements, but the C'T's true strength for pulling and carrying is the 4680 pack and casts.
