No body damage or glass damage to be found. However, the weak point is the tonneau cover. It did take from what I can tell 4 visible dents on it. For others if you may find yourself with enough warning, I would recommend opening up the cover to prevent damage during a hail storm to protect the cover. The bed I am rather certain could have endured undamaged with the cover open. For reference the Wife’s M3 did not fair as well. Rear window blown out and every body panel has 20 large dents on them. Hers is in to get an estimate for damages.

Similar experience. Windshield had no issues but in my case I was driving (slowly then pulled over), and no tonneau damage. You must have had a worse storm. If asked before seeing this I would say it was 3" hail, but now I'm not so sure since I didn't see get any damage.

Sorry about the m3!!

Thank you. Yeah I don’t recall anyone yet posting about a hefty hail storm so thought I would provide a report. I was only about 5 miles away from the 3”-4” larger hail fortunately. None of my 58 solar panels appear to have any apparent damages but the new roof shingles took a bit of a beating. My back patio cover did get the Swiss cheese treatment though. Luckily no broken home windows. The picture of the hail in hand is from the area 5 miles away. Mine were mostly between chicken egg and racket ball size.

Good to know this....interested to hear how it is resolved. The post of just replacing the effected slats makes sense. Let us know.

I'm also curious. For me, it's more about the "Does this match the others?" than anything else.

There's probably not much of a market for the good slats nor are they easy to replace for the DIYer.

Yeah I have the same concerns. I do wonder if I have the cover completely replace if I can acquire the damage cover? As it stands at the moment, my primary concern is getting the MR back and I can deal with the CT at a later date. It's not like I am going to look out of place in my area have a few dents. LOL

There is a service procedure for removing individual slats. Its used for the tonneau rework service bulletin. Worth checking the parts cat. Or asking service for a repair quote. Only problem is they charge $200+/hr of labor at service center.
Also need a Toolbox subscription and cable to run the cover out of its track, along with something to hold it
