There are several very effective ways to react to this:
1. Ignore - there is nothing more infuriating for libtards when their feelings are ignored.
2. Smile - wear it as badge of honor, you already made a statement by buying and driving giant, expensive middle finger libtards cannot afford. Keeping your cool and reacting positively makes them mad. Sometimes I even do "Royal wave"
3. Keep eyes on the road and ignore idiots - this is last stage after you get tired of reacting. The negative, you miss all the positive reactions, but by that time you've been driving Cybertruck for couple years and so used to it that you are surprised that it still generates any reaction.

When you frame it this way, your wife and kids will have fun out of this circus too

I live in the Bay Area and have experienced my share of fingers, shouts, confrontations, and scratches and, no, I don’t like it. I long for the days when people came up to me in wonder and waved from their cars. It is sad that people blame us for buying a great car simply because they are angry at a man.

This said, we all have to admit that Elon has said and done things that have hurt a lot of people and made a lot of people angry. I do not want to argue for or against any of those actions; only to acknowledge their impact. Even though he has been one less vocal in recent months people have very long memories when they are hurt or angry…

…and the progressive Left should acknowledge and admit that their leaders pushed Elon to the right and cost the election…started with attacks from Elizabeth Warren and Robert Reich in early 2020, simply for being a billionaire, while Musk was still a Dem donor, and BEFORE Musk owned Twitter or had fallen into the right-Twitter sphere. It continued with Biden slights against Tesla and in favor of Mary Barra (who had already sued to strip CARB and shutdown EVs) and shady SEC investigations into Musk companies, and pretty soon Musk had confirmation bias of attacks from the Left. I could understand why he was pissed, frankly, because I was too. (WHY TF does a party with the signature platform of Climate Change attack the one guy doing the most to mitigate their signature issue, when he had become the billionaire by solving Climate for transport?! If they’re so concerned about Climate, wouldn’t they want to entice private industry to solve the issue and the reward would be a wealthy ROI?!? Oh wait, they did incentivize him to do it and become wealthy! ). FWIW, I disagree with Musks many hard right conspiratorial tweets of late, but if we’re gonna have to concede that he’s an asshole sometimes, we also have to concede that the Lefts assholery pushed him there. $250m in political spending later and the Left lost a pivotal election. FAFO
