Not me, lately I’ve been getting a lot of compliment with some suggesting Elon would make an outstanding President and that Maybe the CT will replace that old stale Cadillac POTUS uses.

People are really impressed with the CT now more than ever and sales say as much.

One of the lawyers I was talking to earlier this morning is a friend (though in court we represent opposite sides and “fight” frequently) who bought his wife (last year) a model S and because of all of the issues with service centers that we see people reporting here daily, he just didn’t want to deal with the inferior ownership experience. This is a guy who is a private pilot, owns a jet - very well healed indeed.

I think he only had the Tesla for about three months - dumped it immediately after getting guff from the service center about something that he thought was very simple and should’ve been handled the way he’s used to being treated by Porsche, Mercedes, BMW etc.

Dumped her car, told Tesla - literally - to go fuck themselves, bought the wife a Taycan. Decided that he would not be switching from Mercedes and got whatever executive level trim Mercedes he’s driving now.

Point is, he told me then I should dump Tesla and definitely not get the Cybertruck. [Again, I’m not persuadable, I know what I want, what I think, and why.]

He said it again today as we were talking about the “Swasticar” situation! He said you’re gonna get shot with these crazies out here and I said, of course, “Well it is bulletproof!”

I’d say he’s a political moderate. One of his law partners is a former cop and current GOP state senator from a rural area.

It is what it is. ??‍ The sycophants will believe whatever their HEARTS and PURITY VOWS need them to.

I am not sure it is only Elon haters that triggers the action. I was coal rolled by an diesel truck right in front of the CHP once. I don't think that guy was an Elon hater or maybe he didn't get the memo yet that Elon changed sides.

Elon is the reason the CT exists, and that I could buy it. He is not the reason that I did buy it. I can like and did buy the CT for all the technology, the style, etc. At the same time I despise the current Elon. The two are not connected.

He was almost the reason that I did not buy it, given his antics at that time. I was following him on Twitter/X for the posts about his companies. The occasional odd stuff I scrolled passed because Elon had/has his quirks. When he went in full political mode, I at first tolerated it, still looking for nuggets about Tesla and SpaceX. Few weeks ago I decided it became too much, so unfollowed him. X is now better usable (for me at least).

I believe he got an entire sub-Reddit shut down this week because he didn’t like what they were “saying.”

Never cease to amaze me how people can convince themselves that people who are obviously disingenuous … aren’t.

I’m glad I was born in an era where people would tell you in a minute that they were “nobody’s fool.”
