$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

As promised here is a link to the data I’ve collected on the $59k SAWD orders in Google Sheets. For the data geeks, feel free to download and slice & dice as you wish. Post any corrections or updates here and I’ll attempt to update daily.

I probably won’t update any charts, but here are some preliminary stats to chew on. I collected 38 users that shared order dates but if we include the @Griswold poll (plus @Cayden Thompson and @Mattkalin ), there are 54 users that may have ordered. A few from Griswold’s poll were removed since they had no posts or the account was removed.

Looks like CA and FL have the greatest number of orders, no surprise there. I am surprised NC and TX are similar. Most of the orders were placed within the first few days and then a rush at the end of the window.

A little info on “my Cybertruck journey”. I reserved a Dual Motor in April of 2022. I decided to cancel my spot for the FS delivery and get the $100 refunded. Shortly later, when Tesla offered 0.99%, free color w/FSD, and the tax credit was still in effect, I ordered a ’24 M3P. Glad I did since we all know, regardless of the internal or external distractors, this is a hell of a deal for a Cybertruck. I priced out a 2026 F150 with the same specs as my 2017 XLT, which I had plans to replace soon, and it was around $65k. How could I have said no to a $59k CT?

Very excited for the folks who will get theirs soon and thanks again to this amazing “family within a family” of future fire-sale SAWD owners.

There must be a flood of orders after the 19th once Elon made the post about the limited time price. Will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to clear those. Probably a lot on the last day of the offer too. Of course some people may cancel.

Nice we're getting some air time but not anything new in the article for this group. The author, Joey, is a little off on his delivery timing for the SAWD version.

"The truck is currently priced at $69,990, and deliveries for new orders are slated for between August and September 2026."
