I'm getting a bit of cold feet. The reality of having an $850 car payment for 6 years is causing me to think twice. Even with 15-20K down it feels like a large financial commitment.
Before this process I was not aware auto rates were almost 6%
I did my credit app and Tesla approved me at 5.69%, navy Fed approved me at 5.79% my paid for legacy X has been very good to me but the mileage is really high and the only other viable alternative is sit and wait a year or two before picking up a 22 X or S.

If it helps, you are making 6 years of payments for a $10,000 discounted price which may never be seen again with the exact current equipment in SAWD.

My pickup is in Chesterfield, MO. Its a 6 hour drive for me. Hope they don't come up with excuses after I fly out there. Lol.

That is also the dealership where I’ll be picking up my car—a two-hour drive away—and I feel their handling of the situation has been very poor.

Well that's a better % than I received. Maybe since I was a new Fidelity customer or they were crushed with requests. I should have planned better. That mimics my story on my CT order.

To be clear, that is what the window sticker said ?
Where I live the town excise tax is computed on the sticker price, not the price you paid. If you buy a new vehicle with a MSRP of $71k and actually pay $61k you are taxed on the full MSRP amount.
That would kinda suck... The state sales tax here tacks on another 5.5%
