Has anyone experienced steering system warnings or multiple error messages immediately after delivery of their Cybertruck?


My truck was delivered today and had to be returned to the service center right away. Tesla says they will replace a steering-related component.


For those who had similar issues:


  • What was the actual failed part?
  • What components were replaced?
  • Did the repair permanently fix the problem?
  • Have the warnings returned since the repair?

Any information would be extremely helpful, especially since there is very limited Cybertruck ownership and service history in South Korea.

I was wondering if any other Cybertruck owners have experienced similar warning lights or errors. If so, what was the final diagnosis and repair? Were any parts replaced, and did the issue return afterward?


The service center told me they plan to replace a steering-related component (steering system part). Has anyone here had a steering component replaced for similar warnings? Did replacing that part completely resolve the problem, or were there additional repairs required?

There were several reports of this type of error early in the launch (2024).

The faulty parts were replaced by the SC.

i had a similar experience when i picked up mine . I got two blocks away and a warning came up and the steering was pulling hard to the right. Turned around and took it back and they looked at it and said that the delivery truck must have pulled the alignment out while on the truck.They
Gave it an alignment and was good to go.

I had immediate steering issues just driving out of the lot at delivery on FSCB Sept 2024 and did a u-turn right back to the Service Center. I don't remember any alerts or warnings, just really bad steering issues when trying to make lane changes or turns. It was disheartening to say the least but it was fixed. I just looked at my history and it was replacing lower control arm fasteners and four wheel alignment.

I actually had a pretty terrible delivery experience, but the unpleasant memories have faded.
