This is consistent with some other quotes I have received in East Fort Lauderdale. $999/ windshield, 2 front $289, 2 rear $289, rear roof $349, rear glass $289. I am taking this thing to Coral Springs for sure.
Sounds to me like they don’t understand troubleshooting 101 and opted to replace the entire harness which is very unnecessary. Sections of the harness can be isolated and replaced without tearing the truck to pieces.
I have a good feeling the +$20k is goi g to end up being a very good deal in the long run. I have had the FS CT (AWD) for about 4 months now and I have zero regrets.
I’m with you on that re: not going back to ICE after Tesla. I just sold off GT3RS and the last of my ICE vehicles. The CT and Tesla experience are unmatched.
You might have no choice considering all the restrictions (one time use) and absolutely nothing of note currently in stock. It’s annoying because we could have received $5000 vouchers but there’s jack shit available to buy.
Let me get this straight…. You are going to try and return the fucking truck over 22 miles? This stuff is just getting stupid. Enjoy the truck because it’s awesome!
Poorly engineered. The load from the magnet visor connectors needed something more stout to connect to. Same thing happened to me. Simple fix at Tesla they rework the clips and it never happened again. For now, move the visors slightly off the center box so they are not connected, press up and...
True, but at least at speed the Gorilla will stay in place. Either way, I hope the part arrives soon. This truck is amazing but there will be small issues that will need to be addressed (I’m sure this isn’t the last of it). At least Tesla will make it right.
IMHO if you want this truck then you made a big mistake. Why do people get so bent out of shape thinking Elon will flip a switch and cheaper trucks will just pour out? You do realize the ramp up will take years, the unknowns (wheels, tires, options, PRICE) could actually make the non FS more...
The tonneau is integrated into the design of the truck. I highly doubt they change this. Wheels, tires and software are easy to change but I doubt they mess with tonneau especially considering it’s important to range calculations and overall truck design. Either way, I am glad I bought FS...
