I'm still waiting to get the final fine print on my trip. I have the airline tickets, hotel, car rental, +1, cowboy boots, but not the actual admission details yet.

So I'm just as curious as the rest of you, except my stuff is not refundable.

See those that are going on Wednesday.

I full expect the website to be updated with enough official stuff to argue about on this forum for a couple weeks while none of us get trucks for several months. Then we can go back to making up rumors of midgate, boat mode, and laser windshield wipers.

What If... dreaming out loud...

To meet the federal credit limits, Tesla dropped some expensive features, but allows them as "accessory upgrades" possibly installed at service centers.

Here are "somewhat reasonable" price musings...

$59,995 - Dual motor, 310 mile range, black interior.

$79,995 - Tri motor, 295 mile range, white interior (stupid fast).

$5K - Tailgate ramp.
$5K - Sail storage.
$5K - Front middle seat / folding console w/airbag curtain from under screen, or rear view mirror area.
$1K - Integrated Top Light Bar.
$1K - White interior upgrade.

And LA LA Land...

$10K - Software unlock 150 mile range.
$10K - Midgate Mod.

Nobody would pay $5K for Sail storage in those little triangles.

Personally, I look at the photos of the Cybertrucks in showrooms. And I see what I think is the whole rear quarterpanels ARE doors that swing upwards, exposing side storage. I give it 75% possibility.

I was assuming access via sail, with storage down to bed and fender well depth. Avalanche and Ram boxes are like that. Each one would be similar c.f. of under-bed box, and these would be 6 ft long at top.

So a 120k truck, plus 16k for full self driving, that is 136k?

No thanks. I can wait.

Look at what Tesla did to the Plaid, now 89k?

What evidence is there that the delivery event would be for a vehicle they didn't plan on shipping to customers? Or a at a price they didn't plan on selling it at?

Sheesh.

I hope they would announce a jeep wrangler type vehicle alternative. Just bare bones 4 motors...4 seats...good sound system and 400 miles of range on 35" tires of rock crawling deliciousness. Lol

people getting ‘delivery’ on the 30th aren’t paying what you’d pay, how you’d pay, or for what you’ll be able to buy

still, I’d guess Nov 30th they give retail pricing

At the same time, this is a Tesla release, so I also wouldn’t bet much money on it
I bet it will just randomly pop up on their website one day next year with pricing. That’s it. No big announcement or explanation. Just 5 years of waiting and an extremely anticlimactic modification to the website. I too hope they give info at the event but we will see.

Please add 6th seat to your list. I need to argue that one into existence if you don’t mind.

my crystal ball(s):

CT dual-motor starting at $59999 + add mix & match options for another up to $15,000 or so. most people will likely choose a subset of options.

a more distant "hurricane-path" style guess puts the CT dual motor between $54,999 -$64,999 base price

make your bets!
