Did a 1000 mile round trip, Quartzsite AZ to Fresno CA this weekend. Cybertruck AWD, Foundation running on chill and slogh FSD came in at 397 watts per mile, $138 supercharger cost and another $4.50 at home to top it off. California supercharge rates went up 15% Friday to Monday, the high was $0.55 per kilowatt. Gas would have been over $250, so I shouldn’t complain about the price change.

I think the national average for gas is $5/gallon, so $250 cost would be 50 gallons to go 1000 miles = 20 MPG

My current vehicle gets 10 MPG so that would cost me $500. God I can't wait to get my Cybertruck lol...

Sure, blame it on Elon.
I'd say it's more of a California thing than an Elon thing. Supercharger rates on the East Coast have not changed.

Historically, electricity cost has loosely tracked with cost of fossil fuels.

And if anybody knows what he’s talking about when it comes to history it would definitely be @CyberGus!

Can you tell us about the before times when our fossil fuels were living plants and dinosaurs? What did brontosaurus taste like? 🦕🍽

I can help out with this. It's definitely more fatty than velociraptor, but still kinda like chicken.
