Did your electrician know you will be using it at 48A for 14 hours at a time?

Really depends on what gauge the wire is... Even then, I would not do 48A on a 50A breaker over a long period of time. The breaker will slowly melt. The safest long term solution IMO would be to drop it down to 32A on the app or in your Tesla directly.

I have wall connector 2018 m3 45/mph 2022 mY 40/mph & truck getting 27/mph
That is about what we should expect on a Cybertruck with a 60A breaker running at 48A.

Sure, for a washing machine. Will your ‘electrician’ rebuild your house after the fire?

Code in California says 80% max on the circuit breaker, so on a 50A breaker it’s 40A max. A Wall Connector would check. These cheap is with their 14-50s are begging for trouble. My house is worth more than the price difference between doing it cheaply and doing it right. Your results may differ.
