I talked to the Tesla sales rep today and he said April hopefully now ... I'm really pissed to say the least. I'm patient, but at some point my $ needs to have some pull. If I was buying a new version of a pre existing car it wouldn't matter, but this is a 100k car that they have held my cash for 2 months now and have zero updates or communication with me. I have a screenshot where it says Dec-Feb delivery, that went away real quick from the app. I just never thought I'd pay for a vehicle and have to wait 6 more months beyond the 4 years I already had waited.

I'm 12/31 order date after a 12/8 invitation. I worked out an estimated delivery date of September based on production rate of 2x the current rate of 25 CT/day. I'm sure hoping my September estimate is WAY OFF. The problem is we have no concept of how many people have ordered. They are still delivering CTs in February that were ordered on the FIRST DAY (12/8)? There was a glimmer of hope when a 12/15 order was delivered but that seems to be a flyer. At this rate we will never get our FSCTs! Maybe the best solution is to start drinking now, relax and forget about your FSCT?

They are still delivering CTs in February that were ordered on the FIRST DAY (12/8)?

There are still a lot of CT's parked outside the factory with pieces of trim missing. It's very likely there is still a large supply chain issue, especially as they discover manufacturing challenges during ramp and need parts reworked.

This is going to be a SLOW ramp.

I sure hope so. I was laid off Monday so fingers crossed I land a new gig before my delivery time arrives. I’m not comfortable dropping $100k on a new truck without the next job lined up ?

My daughter even said, on our way to school this morning, “Did you get a new job yet? I REALLY want you to get the cybertruck.” ?

How does it work?
I'm thinking they send a group to a delivery center and assign that way.

I'm a 12/11 order in Irvine with no VIN which is so interesting. I thought I got a hold of Tesla's way of doing it but it seems that it's not only based on region but also delivery center which makes sense

My buddy who ordered 12/16 just got his VIN today (2/9/2024). He is in NorCal. He reserved within the first 5 minutes on Nov 21, 2019, was invited to order the FSCT on 12/16, and did so same day. So;
1 - 11/21/19 reservation
2 - 12/16/23 FS invite & ordered
3 - 2/9/24 VIN assigned.

I ordered 12/19 and got vin on Friday 2/16. They called me later the same day saying that truck is here already. Earliest appt was on Sunday 2/18, so picking up today. Can't wait! ( I'm in NorCal)

12/8 invitation and waited until 12/22 to order. Bad decision on my part. I have a campground reservation in Big Sur California on May 3-5 and really want to take the new Cybertruck from Utah to California. Unless my VIN arrives by middle of March I may be out of options. Let’s get that factory cranked up and producing!

I called Tesla to see if changing my delivery from Utah to Texas or California would get it delivered faster. The guy really tried hard to get me to not change. He thought there might be registration issues picking up in Texas but registering in Utah. Has anyone changed delivery states and received CT earlier? I decided to not change but I will always wonder.

Ordered as soon as I could on 12/21 (original reservation was within the first hour).

February 9th - VIN assigned.
February 21st - Delivery scheduled.
Should arrive and be delivered early next week according to Tesla. This is in Florida. Under 1,700 VIN.

They're coming! Didn't think I'd be this excited...but I'm so excited!
