Hey thanks for asking. Yes, I took delivery yesterday in Dublin. My scheduled delivery date almost got pushed back for the 3rd time, but the delivery advisor pulled through and got confirmed (phone call) 10 minutes before closing the day before. The vehicle team must be really busy lately.

It's true you no longer have the urge to check this message board 10 times a day after taking ownership. I'll try to make time to write a somewhat in-depth review, focused on small details that I've learned since taking delivery; details that I haven't really notice anyone else mention on their deliveries.

Broken record I know but any scratches, mud underneath etc. It's been 2 weeks since I turned down the first one and I still don't have a new VIN or any information from Tesla.

I don't remember, and they removed it from the app that day. It was 700 and something from Colma California.

No, I feel your pain. Can't believe you haven't gotten another VIN. People will say, heck you've already waited 4 years so what's another 1-2 weeks? But it's much different when you are/were THAT close to delivery. Especially for those so eager that we check here for updates multiple times a day. Something that you just have to experience to understand.

I saw your post and photos the day you posted. Straight up looked like the truck sat through a hurricane. Mine didn't have any mud or scratches. Some soap suds though still accumulated at the door sills/rocker panels. There was some kind of residue above the charge port, about quarter (coin) sized, that I thought could be scratches. Though it seems like it's only on the surface since I'm able to remove it with my fingernails. No major door or panel discolorations/mismatch. Overall quite good. I really hope your 2nd VIN is assigned soon!

I ended up going today but I passed on it. There were several light scratches and then one deeper scratch on the right rear panel. They said they can't fix those. They have to sand it down and then you can always see where they sanded it down.

There were marks on the driver door panel where the suction cups may have been and it looks like maybe they tried to clean them. They didn't look like the clear outlines of suction cups like I've seen in some pictures, just big dark areas.

There were some alignment issues with the metal trim that goes above both doors and there was also water inside the storage compartment in the bed and in the outlet inside the bed, both have rubber seals. Someone got too aggressive with the power washer maybe.

On the right side of the front trunk, there was also a larger gap when you can see the rubber underneath. The left side looked good but if you moved it to make the right look good then the left side would be off. I tried to see if it had the little adjustable rubber feet that I've seen on other trunk lids but they looked fixed.

They were without power by the time I got there but they said they washed the truck but it had all sorts of debris from trees all over the truck and I couldn't even really tell what other marks it may have had other than the few I found. Very disappointing. There was mud underneath and there was also rust coming out of where the hubcap or the center cap would go. I'm sure that's from the brake pads but it looks pretty bad. That's how they want to deliver it to me.

Not sure how folks are going to deal with this ongoing but a good amount of the debris was in between the metal and the top and back of the truck from beginning to end. I wouldn't recommend parking it under anything that has small leaves or debris of any kind.

I'm not sure if they left the window open or something, they did wipe down most of it but in the cup holders behind the headrests in the back side panels inside, there's a nice layer of dirt/dust.

I got another VIN #20XX but they show it being sent to Colma again. That is an hour and a half away. Others say they picked up in Vallejo and that would be like 20 minutes.
