14.1.7 Fog / Clean camera warning issues

Anyone having issues with light fog sending the truck into a temper tantrum? It's been really bad. Cameras are clean, but feels like the detection software for camera cleanliness is ultra sensitive. Will have to test it through rain as well but hasn't rained since I got it.

I think the sensitivity for camera visibility notifications has increased by a factor of about 5. I think its the system just commenting that “hey i cant see correctly, so if anything goes wrong its cuz of that and not my fault” basically. “You have been warned”. Just a gentle reminder, FSD is supervised, not autonomous.

Should have been more clear about it but I'm familiar with the system and what FSD is. It's the sensitivity that has gone up considerably. And I'm not just talking about FSD being "degraded for poor weather". I'm talking about a full on "take over immediately" situation that i'm seeing early hours/light with light fog.

That’s not good. I only have to deal with fog a few times a year and I’m always nervous driving through the Everglades early early morning with fog because you simply can’t see very much. I’m always concerned of an animal on the road driving with full self drive supervised, in fog has to put you on your seats edge to begin with and if it’s more sensitive now, it might not be worth using in fog.
