I guess there has been no super revelations on a fix?
I was hoping someone would come up with a miracle.

Tesla service is preparing for FSD computer replacement as the fix.
So, I’m stuck until June 1st.
Can’t believe this.

Did your issue occur after the software update? Because mine did (2026.2.9.10). I’m pretty concerned that a software update can fry my FSD computer. Would make me think twice about any future FSD software updates. Especially after warranty!

Actually no. I updated to 14.3.2 2.9.9 and shortly after that FSD decided to disappear. I was trying to get 2.9.10 hoping it would fix it.

I managed to get an earlier appointment on surprise May 19th but at a service Center 3 hours away. Agreed it can’t be soon enough.
Funny, update 2.9.10 started downloading again yesterday. Of course it is still at 50%.

This will be a good test to see who get's going first! We both have appointments on May 19 and both service centers are 3 hours away.

I see daily attempts at downloading 2026.2.9.10. Usually it stops at 50%. One time it stopped at 80% and I got excited.....but it failed.

Keep in touch!

Are you getting a loaner? I hope I am otherwise I’ll have to rent a car to get back. I hope it doesn’t take too long also because I was planning on going on a trip.

dropped mine off at 8am and at 430pm it was completed. The give me a loaner but I just stayed there and played games in it while I waited. It’s was a good will replacement so no cost and that was cool. I also got some wheel farrings replaced. They did unplug my sentry flash drive and forgot to plug it in so I had to do that. Also they will install the software at like 2026.2.200 or something like that and it will be a few 3-4 days before the trucks checks in for the current version.

That is good news! I will just hang out there until it’s done. Fingers crossed it’s done just as fast!

My baby’s back! It doesn’t look like they had to replace the FSD computer (thank goodness). Everything seems to be working as normal so far. Tesla gave me a loaner m3 with free supercharging for the weekend (Awesome!). What other company does that?

Technician’s Repair Notes: Technician confirmed the autopark alert was present and driving visualization was not displayed after a recent software update. A software task on the Self-Driving ECU had entered a critical state, making Self-Driving unavailable. Technician performed a hard reset to restore power and performed a camera calibration. Post-repair validation drive confirmed the alert is resolved and all features now operate as designed.

Fingers crossed I don’t have any future issues with software updates…

I had to rebook for Thursday. Did it take more than 1 day? I needed my truck for the weekend.

Not sure if they really needed more than a day to fix it given the ā€˜hard reset’ that the technician noted. You would think they would have been able to fix this right away and get me on my way. However my service centre likes to take my car in and give me a loaner immediately. This service centre is very busy and even though they take my vehicle, I don’t think they look at it right away. I dropped it off on Friday afternoon and it sat there over the long weekend until they sent me the notice that it was ready for pick up today. I didn’t mind this at all since they gave me the loaner. Heck, they even gave me a loaner just to replace my windshield wiper and clean my front cameras (Lol).

Sorry for the long winded response but I think it will depend on your service centre’s situation.

Thank you for the info.
I guess if they give me a loaner I can work with that. Will see what happens.
This has been stupid and taken too long for a software fix.
