yep, thats a ram. fender flares and trim badge orientation (also profile of doors/windows) allude to it. Possibly a 4500 from the looks of it.

I’m pretty sure the Tweet was sent from Stockton, but the photo with the brown grass looks much more like either I5 near Paterson, or somewhere along 580.

There aren’t any hills like that in Stockton, it’s extremely flat. We used to joke that the tallest hill in town was the City Dump. I would ride my bike 40 miles and get less than 200 feet of climbing in.

Also, if they are going to or from Fremont, Stockton isn’t really on the way from anywhere. If you are coming from the south, you’d either be coming up 5 or 99 and and cut through Manteca/ Lathrop. To/ from 580 West. If you are coming to/ from the North or East, I’d expect you’d take 80 all the way to 880 (I think it’s 880 anyhow) rather than through Stockton.

I spent way too much of my life in Stockton…. Those hills aren’t in Stockton. As I said in the first paragraph, most likely the Photograph is somewhere along I5 south of Lathrop, or along 580.

It could be going to Nevada? Stockton to Nevada via 580 to 5 to 80.

Dry brown hills are kind of endemic in the East Bay Area and I5 southbound from the Bay Area.
