2023 delivery numbers expected?

Do we have any indication on how many deliveries are expected before the end of 2023? I’m number 12K in line, dual motor, living in NC.

I believe that starting next year, they will just remove the 7500 EV tax credit/incentive right from the price versus getting back after you file your taxes…

Okay, but I'm saving $7500 either way, right? In fact, the saving is immediate under the new rule.

The tax credit only works as long as you owe $7,500. If you owe less you will not get the full $7,500 . If you have a tax refund you get none of the $7,500

I don’t think we’ve seen any signs pointing at tri motor? We have seen pics that show a dual motor configuration, so i would have to think dual motor first

I ordered a tri-motor as well. Obviously a bit permature, I think I am 39k in line, but I'm moving forward with installation of my wall charger next month.

Completely wrong! Its not about "owing" its about liability, as in taxes paid on income throughout the year by payroll deductions for most.

Best video I found that explains it correctly. Nothing has changed in the terms of the Federal $7500 since I claimed it back in 2018 besides the new income caps and designated vehicles that are eligible or not.

We don't know what they will release with first. We have seen signs of Dual Motors being tested, but there is speculation that tri motors are also being tested.

They could release both a Dual Motor and a Tri motor to start with in a mix, or one or the other. We really have no way of knowing. Tesla's history on what they release is all over the place.

Regardless, most likely your selection on trim for the Preorder will not matter and they will just invite to configure from what is available. If you don't want those options you just sit on your reservation until the one you do want becomes available.
